Excellent!

Wow! I almost missed this CD and really glad that I bought it. Lee Jun Ki is really talented besides being an excellent actor, and so glad that I'm his fan! I wouldn't say this CD is a quantum jump from his previous single, but you can tell from the improvement in his singing techniques and his increase of confidence. He is kind of versatile in his style now that includes a little pop, hip hop and electronica. I've given Tracks 1, 2 and 4 with 5 stars and track 3 with 3 stars. The old tracks, 6 and 7 only got 3 stars at best. The pamphlet is really pretty. But, I wish the stylist would just leave Lee Jun Ki's handsome and good looking face without the heavy makeups around his eyes, especially in the white photos which look horrendous! You should get this CD if you're Lee Jun Ki's fan! Don't miss it! :) |

Lee Jun Ki is one of my favorite korean actors and in 2006, when he released his digital single (Maijoon) with 3 songs, I was so happy. JunKi has a very nice voice which just adds on to his many talents. This year, he finally released a physical album which includes all 3 songs from his 2006 single (Han Madiman - One Word/Sarangeul Molla-Don't Know Love/Babo Sarang-Foolsh Love). Long time fans won't want to give up this chance to have the songs. Out of the new songs on the CD: 'J Style' is catchy. I get where they're going with the song, but maybe I need to see the PV to get the full concept. Something about it seems incomplete to me, but I love the song. ^_^ Track 2 'Heun Jamal' is my favorite non-single track on the album. It feels soothing to me and his vocals really shine in this one. 'I'm Ready' has a rock feel. It's okay in my opinion. I guess I'm just not used to him single rock. It doesn't fit the image of him I already have from years of being a fan. Track 4 'Akkim Opshi Jooneun Namu' is a nice slow ballad-like song that makes you want to sing along. (Tracks 5-7 are the 206 single songs) Overall, I really like the album and recommend that Lee Jun Ki fans add it to their collection. ^_^ |

I was really happy that Lee Jun Ki finally releases his first physical CD! I expected much from this single (which seems more to be a mini-album to me) and I wasn't disappointed at all! Although Lee Jun Ki is an actor, he sings better than many other singers! Most of all, I like the song '한마디만', his first song which he released in 2006, but the other songs are also good. If you're a real fan of Lee Jun Ki, you shouln't miss this single! It's totally worth buying! |
