　　風聞醫是一個充滿神蹟的地方，又得到丈夫萬豪（郭耀明飾）的支持，年青社工Tracy（陳松伶飾）決定到一間專門收留絕症病人的西門山醫院工作。醫院內Tracy發現滿佈一片絕望氣氛，甚至專科醫生（楊群飾）也是奇怪的人。Tracy決以自己方法來幫助病人，誰知吃力不討好，弄巧反拙，使一向好勝自信的Tracy非常氣憤。不久，一個壞消息傳來，在驗身報告中，Tracy被發現患上末期骨癌，結婚兩年對未來充滿希望的一對小夫婦，頓然變得不知所措。
　　諷刺的是Tracy入住西門山醫院接受治療，身份由社工轉變成病人，身、心靈及自尊都受盡癌病折磨的Tracy變得意志消沉。一直深愛妻子的萬豪對Tracy康復抱著極大的期望，他更放棄電腦公司的高薪要職全力照顧妻子。
　　Tracy對丈夫不離不棄的愛深受感動，但又害怕自己離世後萬豪會過度傷心，所以暗中為自己安排一切身後事及為丈夫尋找妻子。一次偶然機會，Tracy遇上燕姐（喬宏太太飾），在燕姐的點化下她終能明白「生命最大的神積，就是從絕望中找到希望！」結果，Tracy和萬豪不單更懂得珍惜對方，而且更用自己的生命來改變四周的病人，直至那天她離開世上‥‥
