After Cantonese album Life is Like a Dream and a best-of album with new Mandarin tracks Black & White, the record label releases a brand new Jacky Cheung Karaoke collection: Life is Like a Dream. Containing all ten tracks from Jacky's Cantonese album as well as 16 of his golden classics, covering his illustrious career. The album Life is Like a Dream is a grueling project for Jacky, with production time taking 3 years, it was released in April, and for the first time in Jacky's career this is the only album that can be called his own. All ten tracks on the album were composed by him, and every song touching upon a personal aspect of Jacky's life. The first single from the album, "Telling You", is for his wife May Law, completely expressing his devotion and love with his soft, tender singing. "YoYo" is for his daughter, and "For my friends" is written for his friends who have since passed away: Leslie Cheung, Anita Mui and Richard Lam.

I love this 2 VCD "Life is Like a Dream N More Karaoke VCD". I've waited for this for quite a long time, especially songs from his year 2001 Cantonese album - "The Best In The World" and his latest album - "Life is like a dream". It's been since 1998 since Jacky released a Cantonese MV-karaoke VCD. The MVs from "Life is like a dream" was well presented for the music lovers and Jacky's worldwide fans. Believe me, this is money well spent. Jacky never disappoints.

The Best Karaoke VCD lately Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
this is the best karaoke vcd lately. why? here's why:
a)all the music videos in the first vcd were newly filmed, and never-before-seen. just to speak of the videos themselves, to my suprise, video 10 is one of the best music videos i have ever seen, even better than leon lai and jay chou's music videos, which is surprising.
b)rarely do companies release karaokes for songs that have not been plugged on mass media before, let alone to release the allthe tracks of an album. this is definitely good news for fans who listens to every track of an album, and not just the one or two songs plugged on radios.
c)most of the videos in the 2 vcds were videos that have never been previously released on karaokes. besides the 10 karaokes in the first vcd, tracks 1,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 have never ever been released on karaokes before. so buying this vcd won't have the problem of getting many repeated videos just for the sake of a few new ones.
d)the vcds, outside and inside, is packaged like a totally new cd album, that is like the opposite of how hk companies usually releases music videos. this is a must buy!

I finally bought the VCD I've been waiting for months, if not years. It's been a while since Jacky has released a Cantonese karaoke VCD straight from his MV's. The visuals are superior, his voice rocks. Now a songwriter and co-producer in his own right. This is truly Jacky's album. Plus past MV/karaoke you can't afford to miss, especially songs from his last Cantonese album - "The Best In The World" from three years ago. Jacky is now becoming even more professional, by investing more time into his own albums, just like what most Western pop singers do, hoping you will like the end product very much. I believe Jacky thinks quality is better than quantity.

I've waited for this VCD for ages. The very best of Jacky's Cantopop songs, especially from his "Life is like a dream" CD. What's even better, a few songs from his previous Cantonese album. I'll make sure I'll sing these songs for karaoke at the Tingha Club in Parramatta, Sydney, Australia.
