Great first CD Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
At first, I was a bit skeptical when she came out with her CD. Some people were complaining that she shouldn't be singer, blah blah blah--anyways, I was intrigued and decided to listen to her songs for myself. Maybe I had a low expectation for Cantopop, but I was surprised at how good it was. These songs are catchy and easy to listen to. It really plays on her persona and her image.

It seems to be like everyone has a problem with her voice--I find nothing wrong with it. Just because her voice has a higher range doesn't make her a bad singer. However, she seems to have some breathing/support problems in some parts of a song. I don't think that's a major issue, with time and practice to come, I'm sure that she'll perfect it. Her voice is extremely sweet and affectionate throughout each song. And in terms of dynamics and emotions, you can tell that she puts 100% everytime.

What was really shocking to me was that she had composed two of the songs on her CD. For me, I think that's something special. I like that singers aren't just singing a song, but that they're connected to it, that it means something to them. I can't stand it when singers don't have any artist integrity and just sings songs because it was given to them. I don't care how awesome/great/beautiful/touching their voice is, that is NOT what music is suppose to be, and that is NOT music.

Final verdict? I thoroughly enjoyed her CD--especially the two songs that she composed herself. I think that it's a great first attempt, and I can't wait for more of her works to come as a singer/songwriter.

Linda Chung is talented Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I enjoy watching Linda's acting on series and she has the potential in singing too. Her debut album is acceptable with some good songs and her vocal is above average for a new comer in the music industry.

I believe with more vocal practises and opportunity given to her with good songs material, she'll be able to do much better.

Hope that Linda will continue to sing for her fans and i'm already waiting anxiously for the release of her 2nd album now.

Good try, Linda! We love U and keep up with good work!!!

Disappointing Customer Review Rated Bad 2 - 2 out of 10
Linda just isn't the type for singing. Most people who buy this album probably buy it for the actress side of Linda, rather than the quality of the singer. 3 words : This Album Sucks. Period. Her voice is not well fitted for singing, kind of like hearing an accent. Her voice is very high-pitched, but rather sandy and inaccurate at that range. Very disappointing for a first album.

Great Attempt Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
A great attempt for a new comer Linda who doesn't really have much professional experience in singing. I was rather disappointed at first when I heard there were a couple of remakes from some Chinese songs but if you were to put aside your perception of the original song and listen to hers attentively as another work, she did a good job with those remakes and gives her listeners a fresh feeling. I personally like 浪漫無聲 best as it brings out a pure and innocent love feeling. 我不懂你 and 其實我不快樂 are recommended tracks especially 其實我不快樂 which suits the current environment of the fast-paced people. 過山車 and 有沒有她 are Linda 1st attempt in composing and both gave different styles with 過山車 showing the ups and downs of life and 有沒有她 a slow soothing melody. There are 2 Chinese tracks and it is obvious that she has put in effort in pronouncing the Chinese words properly. I'm glad this reloaded album has also included 2 additional tracks and many MVs. A real treat for her fans. On a whole, great job for a newcomer!

I honestly prefer her acting over her singing. Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
I love Linda. I really love her acting. One of the best who's only been in the business for a few years. But her singing has to improve. I give her album 6.5/10. Two songs are bit of a dud (for me, personally). There are another two songs which is out of her limit in singing vocals. She's trying too hard with a few music notes requiring strong vocals and her end notes needs improving. Otherwise, as a newcomer, she's heads and shoulders above the rest of other 2008 newcomers. The first two songs of her album are my personal favourites. Love her MV's. I sincerely believe some of these newcomers need to be trained by professional tutors or go to a singing/music school. I continue to wish Linda all the success at TVB.

Its ok, but could have been better Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
I'm not sure if its my mood today, my hearing, Linda's voice, or just the type of song in this album, but this album wasn't really what I would expect it to be. I think these types of song that Linda is singing in this album doesn't really go with her voice. Because her voice does have such a high pitch. There were fast and slow melody, but they both didn't sound right to me with Linda's voice. The issue may just be me, but I don't think Linda's voice will be good in singing. So I will let those of you who like music or a fan of Linda to decide for yourself if you will like Linda's singing or not to get the album. Throughout the entire album I only like track #6.

Singing is not something for Linda Customer Review Rated Bad 2 - 2 out of 10
Honestly, I like her as an actress but certainly not as a singer. The songs in the album are okay but Linda's performance is not acceptable. Fairly speaking, I can see that she already tried her best. The problem is that she is not born to be a good singer; her voice is too high-pitched that it's somewhat grating. For the cover version of Ariel Lin's songs, Linda's version is apparently worse than the original one. I strongly recommend her to concentrate on her acting career instead of stepping further into singing.

C- Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
Her songs are pretty good if you listen to it more than 10 times but her voice OMG! Horrible! I love her as
an actress but not as a singer. Her voice is weird. I thought Charmaine Sheh voice is horrible but Linda is
worst. She should just stick to acting.

Unbelievable Customer Review Rated Bad 0 - 0 out of 10
This is just no good....I can't believe they would release this CD.
She has no skill or emotion in singing and her voice is just not the type that gives listeners a comfortable feeling.

Good and lovely CD. Great job, Linda. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Really really love this CD of Linda. It's easy listening and has so many good songs. I love Linda's voice. She has improved much better than before. I love all the tracks, but my most top 3 favorites are #1, #3 and #6. The last 2 Mandarin songs are good as well. I've been listening Linda's CD for countless times now and not get tired yet. Thumbs up, Linda.
On a little note, there is making footage on the DVD. It has total 2 MV and that's it. What's pity! I wish there is the making footage clip.
