August 29, 2006 A great concert, bad DVDThis is referring to "When will I see you again live in concert 1989" DVD
This was one of the best performance from Priscilla Chan. It's too bad that it's cut up so bad with no Priscilla talking parts. The concert is not continuous. You can compare with the re-issued Audio CD of the concert, some things are edit out.
Even if this is a Karaoke dvd, shouldn't at least the picture be better. Instead it is dark and kind of muddy and the sound isn't all that great either. The overall package is just cheap looking and does no justice to the music or the performer. Priscilla was and still is a great performer as you can see by this 1989 farewell concert. I sincerely hope they would RE-RELEASED this as a whole concert on DVD with better sound and picture quality and better design of the DVD package and DVD menu.Did you find this review helpful? This review is related to the 'Tai Seng' release of 'Il Mare Mandarin/Cantonese Dubbed Version/US Version).
The movie itself is great - but the stretched screen, the poorly execute design of the menus, the front and back of the dvd art are not up to standards. Other than that I would have enjoy this wonderful film. They did include the some original artwork including the photo gallery, still they could have done better for a film this good. I don't mind the dubbing, some people might not like it. Usually Tai Seng videos are better than this. I'm wondering if the version at taiseng.com is the same version - the cover art work is sure looks much better than this.

Hacken Lee Live in Concert 2002 Karaoke VCD
April 22, 2002 Hacken's Concert VCDI think this vcd it's great. I hope he does more concert cds. They really show his talent better then his regular albums.He seem to be more vibrant and you really felt like you're enjoying yourself, whether you're there at the concert or just watching it at home.
