　　石揮（1915至1957）原名石毓濤，他在《我這一輩子》是他根據老捨得原著自編、自導、自演的優秀作品，此片曾榮獲文化部頒發的優秀影片獎。

　　陳思珍是個精明能幹的家庭主婦。為丈夫唐志遠能辦起公司，使吝嗇的父親資助唐，公司辦起後，唐發了財，卻在外面娶姨太太。陳思珍過著忍聲吞氣的生活，唐的公司破產了，吝嗇的父親上門討債，姨太太大吵大鬧。在陳的幫助下唐渡過難關後。陳卻選擇了和唐離婚，在碰到弟弟和小姑衝破家許的壓力在登記結婚後，在律師的調解下，又破鏡重圓。
