アメリカ空軍の原子ロケット"ネプチューン号"が試験飛行中、南太平洋上で行方不明になる。ノーラン少佐(C・ロメロ)をリーダーとする捜索隊が輸送機で南太平洋上に向かうが、ネプチューン号が姿を消したと思われる地点で突如、機は操縦の自由を失い、孤島のジャングルに不時着。現地民の話からネプチューン号が島の聖地として恐れられている高台に墜落したことを知った一行は、飛行記録を回収すべく、その高台に足を踏み入れる。そこは不気味な原始植物が密生し、太古の恐竜が生息する"失われた大陸"で、地下には無尽蔵のウラン鉱脈が眠っていた。 ■映像特典：オリジナル劇場予告編
