　　武林至尊孟世龍全家慘遭殺害，惟獨女兒孟月欣被殺手小方救出，倖免於難。月欣雙眼失明，但純潔善良，美麗而溫柔，小方不但全力保護月欣，並四處追殺參與孟家血案的兇手，為月欣報仇。其中最重要的，是找出幕後主使者秦士雷。

　　孟世龍死後，江湖中人推舉宮無忌繼任武林至尊，小方大開殺戒，追查秦士雷之事，終於傳入宮某耳中，宮某不願冤枉小方，命令段武等人追查小方殺人真相，及孟家血案兇嫌。

　　孟家兇嫌一一伏法後，小方終於查出，幕後主使者秦士雷，赫然就是新任武林至尊宮無忌。決戰之夜，秋風肅殺，歷經一番血戰，小方終於力殲強敵。

　　小方來到月欣處，告訴眼盲的月欣，最後一個兇手就在眼前，指著自己胸口，要月欣一劍刺下，為家人報仇，月欣不知眼前兇手即為小方，劍刺入小方胸口後，聞小方呻吟，方知真相，小方告以自己也是孟家血案兇手，當夜受雇殺人，直至見了月欣，良心發現，不忍下手，遂救出月欣。月欣為殺小方事懊喪不已，對江湖中永無休止的恩怨仇殺，感到荒謬而悲痛，終於舉劍自戕，隨小方而去。
