Esteemed playwright Raymond To Kwok Wai provided the screenplay for Love au Zen, an intelligent and lightly dramatic relationship comedy directed by Derek Chiu (Sealed with a Kiss). Based on To's own stage play, the film chronicles the trials of four Hong Kong singles at a remote Zen monastery on Lantau Island. Ah Sau (Poon Chan Leung) has disappeared from his previous urban life to the rural environs of the Lantau Island monastery, and his girlfriend Siu Jing (TV star Flora Chan) is bewildered. After Ah Sau shows up at the wedding of friends Mila (Annie Wu) and Cheng (Andrew Lin), Siu Jing follows in hopes of understanding why he left his previous life. Mila and Cheng follow shortly, thanks to a quick at-the-altar collapse to their engagement. Can these mixed up Hong Kong yuppies find the answers to their problems in the Zen Buddhist religion? Featuring a thoughtful examination of some average Hong Kong singles, austere Lantau Island locations, and a canny performance from Ko Hon Man as the temple's Zen master, Love au Zen is a pleasant, engaging, and above-all intelligent change-up to the standard Hong Kong Cinema fare.

Good Beginning
| Very impressive career ahead of her. I would love to see Flora make a movie with Dayo Wong or Steven Chow. It would be such an unusual combination. |

| What can I say about this movie? Well, lets see I'm a guy and I watched it 3 times I guess that sums it all. This movie will make you re-examine your current relationship and you will learn to cherish for what you already got. Well this is how I feel, you may get a different feeling from the movie...but its definitely a great movie! |

The Beauty of Zen Buddhism
| Great Movie! Many of our daily human desires, sufferings and conflicts were addressed and then resolved in this movie in a comedy like, yet deeply profound manner. The buddhist master was asked many challenging questions in various situations to which he answered with calmness, poise, and wits. I also want to compliment all major role players in the movie, especially Flora Chan, for their great acting skills and ability. I give this movie a 10+. A must see for everyone who likes to look at life, love and chances from a different perspective. |

| Great Movie! Many of our daily human desires, sufferings and conflicts were addressed and then resolved in this movie in a comedy like, yet profound manner.
