At first, this drama was not something that I wanted to watch in full due to the subject of the story, religion and two brother's love for one girl. Sad and a bit slow at times but I watched with much interest as the drama progressed. The actors, including the child actors, were very good. Love the two main actors. Cho Hyn Jae & Ji Jin Hee are two actors that are very under rated. The opening of the drama is catchy with animated characters along with beautiful OST playing. I have always written how beautiful most of the OST for the dramas are. This OST does it's justice. If you get the DVD, make sure to get the CD. They go hand in hand. Enjoy... |

I have watched Korean dramas for three years. Now, “Love Letter” is on top of my favorite list. Although I’m not a Catholic, I connected with those two leading actors (Jo Hyun Jae and Soo Ae) from the beginning to the end. I think this drama is not about religion; rather it is about human affection. The images are beautiful and the background music added the depth to the emotion. This is the first time Jo Hyun Jae (tender 23-year old) took a leading role. My comment to his performance is one word “Brilliant.” All supporting actors performed wonderfully. Thanks for the production team. I enjoyed this drama very much. |

The main reason I bought this drama was because of Jo Hyun Jae. I had just seen Sedong Jo (Potato Boy) and wanted to see something else JHJ had been in. Was I in for a suprise. Of the almost 100 korean series I have seen this is the one that has made me cry the most. Being Catholic, I understand the dilemma and agony Jo's character goes through. This love story is different than most because it is not the typical k-drama love triangle. We have here two characters who love each other very much but are willing to sacrifice their love for a higher purpose: to serve God. I usually do not have patience for long draggy scenes, but I did not find this drama draggy nor boring. The slow tempo of the drama works by allowing one to think and feel the characters' agony. Both the leads and supporting cast do a fine acting job. Love Letter is now in my top three k-dramas. |

Could be more interesting....
| I watched this series because of Jo Hyun Jae. The storyline is weak. The girl's character is too wishy washy and throughout the entire 16 episodes, she just wasn't able to draw me into the story. I couldn't sympathize with her experience. Because of her indecisiveness, she hurts two men and herself. So this is a so-so series by K-drama standards. |

| Excellent! I love it, It's very true in real life. That is the real internal war between "Loving God" for some younger generation who want to become a Priest and "the Love of My Life". I cried a lot and loved that 2 young orphans struggle for their love to each other, and hated the MOther, She is a doctor?, How could she forget that she had a son? For 18 years, she never remenbered "Once" about her own son that was taken away form her since he was a toddler, then she let him go to Italie to pursuit his Priesthood. What kind a mother is it? Excellent!!! |

| Just not what i was looking for.. dragged too much and i think it was a bit depressing. Watched the first 5 episodes and then skipped to the end.. i could tell it was sad and everything and i can understand why ppl have rated it, but the drama just didn't grab me.. Maybe i should stay clear of these types? |

Unlike the fluffy love stories of other K-dramas this one deals with a man's struggle between his love for God and the love of a woman. If he were a protestant it wouldn't have been as much of an issue for they could marry and serve God together. But in the Catholic church where it's give God all or nothing, the conflict takes legs. Love letter is a deeper thought provoking story than other dramas, that makes one pause for a moment and think of lifes meaning. Though I thought a different ending would have been more realistic, it did nothing to disuade me from realizing the ultimate gift in life; that being relationships. The one with God and the ones with those people we live with here on earth. |

Soo touching
| Wow.. this drama really touch my heart. So sad when you are to much in love with a person who cannot return back the love, especially a person who is going to be married to God. So desperate.. If you are down and have a recent experience breaking up with a boyfriend, don't watch this movie, coz it's so moving, will make your life more miserable. Otherwise, if your looking for a good cry and drama, this series is for you. |

Love Letter
Love Letter
| I don't usually watch tv drama series but when I saw Love Letter which my friend recommended, and now I am hooked. It is not only touching but what I like about it the most is that it was able to transmit a message to the viewers... that true love really do exists and love can make sacrifices. So for you non-believers I highly recommend this series. I don't speak Korean but now I'm learning the. Bravo to all the actors, specially the young Andreaa. |
