The cool composer of the 80s Hong Kong pop duo Tat Ming Pair, veteran musician Lau Yee Tat has reinvented himself as a deadpan comedy actor since stealing the scene in Stephen Chow blockbusters like God of Cookery and Forbidden City Cop in the 90s. Last year, Tat changed yet again, as he became a Christian and that changed his whole outlook on life. He formed an evangelical band called Love Mission with four aspiring young men and women, attempting to reinvigorate gospel music with his proven band sound. Arriving in June, Love Mission's debut album comes as a jolt of positive energy with the aim of getting people out of the spiritual trough.
