AMAZIN AMAZIN ALBUM. i listen to a lot of music but this has got to be the album of the year for me and the best K One album so far! their vocals, music and style have matured hugely here since their last album which was more 'poppy'. whereas this one moves away from being classed as just 'pop music by a pop boyband'. this is an extremely well though out album with each song focusing on an aspect of Romeo and Juliet's love story. and the inclusion of famous music pieces from bach and mozart helps give it an old classical feeling with modernised music which fits the story telling perfectly. 1)LUO MI OU & ZHU LI YE - WOWOW what a fantastic opening song!! the beginning orchestra reminds me of star wars..lol but sounding very grand & creates tension and turmoil perfect for R&J. vocals, arrangement of song, beats and lyrics are 100%! 10+/10 2)FAN XIAN AI - starts off slow with only piano and violin..then whoah adds a very cool R&B/hip hop beat while still hearing the classical part of it! K One blend well together here. 9/10 3)TANG MEI XIAN ZI ZHI WU - Instrumental but very essential to R&J. very recognisable famous piece...which i usually associate with xmas. LOL 4)LANG MAN WU HUI - BRILLIANT SONG!!!! gives u a really happy bubbly feeling while listening and VERY addictive!! 10++/10 5)HU SI LIAN XIANG - beautiful collaboration with new artist Ivy who has a really good voice that works well with K One's. the melody is very sweet and soothing with a heartfelt chorus. 10/10 6)GOSSIP - awesome opening with the fast orchestra music then changes to a more computerised beat. upbeat dance track. 7/10 7)QI SHI - another instrumental..starts off like something from a horror movie! lol then becomes intense like the preparation of a battle... 8)LOOK INTO MY EYES - this track is alright..fast paced and a bit techno, not one of the best but very listenable. 6.5/10 9)BU MING BAI - wow..such a sweet, slow thoughtful love song with beautiful lyrics! mostly just piano in the background and u can really hear how wonderful their vocals are..makes u feel quite sad and they put SOOO much emotion into the song as if they mean every word which makes this song so special. 10++/10 10)WEI NI ZAI HUO YI TIAN - very very cool song. loves the opening then it gets more rocky..this track grew on me more and more and after seeing their live performance of this with the AMAZING DANCE CHOREOGRAPHY i loved it even more! 10/10 11)RU GUO MEI YOU MING TIAN - another slow thoughtful track which is absolutely AMAZING/BRILLIANT/FANTASTIC! great way to end the album! its like they poured every ounce of feelin they had into this song and i LOVE the lyrics. the ending is especially beautiful wen the female vocals are added. heart-stoppin finale. 10++/10 OVERALL A FANTASTIC ALBUM which was worth my every penny. |
