　　這部愛情小品，獲1985年香港電影金像獎最佳編劇、最佳女主角兩大獎項，由爾冬陞策劃兼主演，陸劍明編導。故事描述，推銷員余小寶（爾冬陞）與女友珍納（左燕翎）早有白頭之約，無奈珍納為人刻薄刁蠻，視余為附屬品；余好友阿旦（鄭丹瑞）及眾同事皆慫恿他向女友攤牌。而富家女金金（王小鳳）與同學趙大豪（潘震偉）計劃畢業後即結婚，誰知趙只顧應酬名女人及千金小姐。一日，余與珍納、金與趙在同一酒廊，同告分手；余與金在這種偶然而尷尬之場合認識，同病相憐下，竟一時衝動立即註冊結婚……

　　Veteran kung-fu star Luk Kim-ming's directing career got off to a flying start with this merry tale of mismatched lovers. It not only won him and his writing partner the Best Screenplay honor at the Hong Kong Film Awards, but the Best Actress Awards for Wang Hsiao-feng as well. She plays a pregnant student who marries a sympathetic, equally heartbroken, passer-by. Then it's one thing after another until an unexpected, but completely satisfying, happy ending.
