マクロス世界において、遥か時空をつなぐワープ技術として魅力的に描かれる「フォールド」航法。この、フォールド航行時のイメージで再現された、クリア仕様のVF-25メサイアバルキリーが満を持して登場。その表現に当たっては、単なるクリア成型だけではなく、外装表面に特殊なホログラムコーティングを施すことで、フォールド空間で見られる七色の幻想的な輝きをイメージ再現。劇中イメージとしても、完成品モデルとしても満足度の高いモデルとして仕上がっている。なお、商品名「フォールドクリアVer.」の命名は、『マクロスFrontier』総監督・バルキリーデザインを担当する河森正治氏による実際の商品サンプルを監修時に、お墨付きをいただいたネーミングとなっている。 ※ 商品本体は「DX超合金 VF-25Fメサイアバルキリー」をベースとしており、完全変形ギミックや可動ギミックを備えています。ただし、外装表面が全塗装されているため、取り扱いに当たっては塗装のはがれなどに注意が必要となりますのでご了承ください。
