Product Information
旧浅野家の家臣である民谷伊右衛門は、妻いわと子供の3人で、和やかに暮らしていた。ある晩、伊右衛門はいわの父・四谷左門から旧悪を暴かれ、逆に闇討ちにしてしまう。そのとき、伊右衛門の仲間・直助も同じ場所で、浅野家の家臣で吉良の仇討を狙う与茂七を殺害していた。それは与茂七の妻そでを横取りするための、私欲による殺害だった。いわと妹のそでは、男たちの仕打ちに涙する。一方、伊右衛門の隣家に住む吉良の家臣・伊藤の娘うめは、伊右衛門への恋の病に苦しんでいた。伊藤は娘の恋を成就させるため、伊右衛門に恐ろしい毒薬を渡し…。
