October 22, 2007 great album
Nan Quan Mama saw a pretty significant improvement with the addition of Zhang Jie and Lara to the group. The first album with the old all-guy members was not bad but the vocals and overall quality of the songs were a little raw, but with great potential. This album is a step up, and I like all of the songs except for track 4 (wu dong xi). Usually I'm satisfied if I like over half of the tracks, so to say that I like ALL except for one track, I'm very happy. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
September 19, 2007 AWESOME!!
This album is one of my favs (and I have a pretty massive music collection). I like every song on the album, but "Leng Dong", "Huo Guang", and "Bian Zhi" are nothing short of breath-taking. His voice is amazing, especially how he can sing so deeply and then immediately hit a high note in falsetto perfectly. Sadly the album seems to be out of stock (possibly out of print) right now, cuz I'm DYING to get my hands on a real copy. Mp3s do not do justice! Buy it if you have the chance!! September 17, 2007 very good!!
Probably my favorite album by Rainie. As one other reviewer noted, this album seems more mature and more experimental, but still fun. My favorite songs are 2 ballads, track 4 "Jue Jiang" and track 7 "di er ge zi ji". Both ballads are gorgeous and kind of remind me of the style of Chinese songs that were popular in the late '80s and '90s. And her voice is, as usual, very lovely. Recommended! August 25, 2007 pretty good
good mix of nu metal, rap, rock, and some elements. some of their songs are melodic, others and more hard and along the lines of linkin park style. my favorite is "mei li de hui yi (chorus version)", a powerful and soulful yet beautiful rock ballad. slowly more rock artists are starting to emerge out of the taiwanese music industry, which i love. the more diversity, the better! Mikazuki (Crescent Moon) (Japan Version)
October 10, 2006 great!before ayaka officially debuted with "i believe", she had a pv of the song "mikadzuki", so we were all waiting for her to finally release that song officially as a single, and here it is! she redid the vocals, but nothing else is different; it is still the same beautiful song. April 24, 2006 a MUST hear!
this song is amazingly beautiful and powerful. the vocalist Ryota has a lovely but strong voice that commands your attention as he shouts out a message of love and loneliness at the top of his lungs. you also might recognize this song as an insert song in the japanese drama 1 litre of tears (ichi rittoru no namida). you should really get your hands on this! (1)Our Price: US$29.75Usually ships within 7 daysFebruary 4, 2006 beautifulthe series itself is beautiful, and to really convey the beauty and fragility of their love, the music was composed carefully and executed gorgeously. my favorite song is the 2nd track "saku to aki" (Saku and Aki, the names of the guy and girl), a track which is often in the background during the series. try it out, it'll make you cry Did you find this review helpful? The Voice (Japan Version)
February 2, 2006 WOWif you have not heard of Ayaka Hirahara, or only know her from her hit "Jupiter", i encourage to check this album out because that is not the only great song she has sung. every track on this album is great, much more entertaining than her first album. my favorites are "blessing chukufuku", "yume no tane", and "watashi wo yonde", which are very spiritual, uplifting songs that have the ability to bring tears to anyone's eyes.
you HAVE listen to this album!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

Kisou (Japan Version)
December 31, 2002 ahhhh...i love Dir!! there's no such thing as a "typical Dir en grey song"; their style is too diverse. plus i like how all their songs are very different, yet unified, and that all their albums have their own separate style in themselves. "kisou" is a more... hard and heavy album. "gauze" is the more melodic album, and "macabre" is the more dark and brooding album. (altho all albums contain a little of all three elements). this album is NOT for the faint of heart; esp. if u don't like perverse lyrics. but hey, isn't that part of Dir's appeal? six Ugly (Japan Version)
December 31, 2002 pretty goodi'm a hardcore Dir fan; i worship them. so it's not surprising that i like this album, but expect more. i understand that the main purpose of the release was to promote the tour, but after listening to their past stuff, i want more from them. don't get me wrong; this still is some gooooooood sh*t.
