Superstar diva BoA has been dominating the world of pop in Japan and Korea for over 3 years, and has recorded a Chinese album to invade the Chinese market with great success. Now she returns to the market of Japan and Korea and release her first ballad single in two years! "MerryChri" is not only the first ballad single since "Jewel Song", but also the first winter single from BoA. The title track is a mid-paced ballad with melancholic melody and lyrics. The single includes some B-sides: "Mega Step" is a R & B tune with lyrics written by BoA that is set to get you grooving along, as well as a cover of Jazz tune "THE CHRISTMAS SONG". Also included are instrumental versions of "MerryChri" and "Mega Step".

Not too bad!!!
| I like this single as it sounds very close to the christmas spirit...when Boa sang the song,"the christmas song",I can hear that she has a strong voice..and she tries very hard to sound very fluent in English....This single sounds good.....it is worth it..... |

| Boa has came out with her single with the b***ad "Meri curi" as her first hit.This the first I had bought.....and i think Boa has sung quite well in "The Christmas Song".....and I can hear this single for hours and hours...but I still not tired of listening it...... |

Awesome vocals

This song is so nice, it's a great christmas ballad. But the most outstanding thing is her vocals. She is a great singer but in this song she sounds better than ever, her vocals are amazing, in fact I'm sure there aren't many singers who could sing this song properly. Boa is great with falsettos, it's a shame she's so underrated , so fans, don't hesitate to buy this great single. |
