After Taiwan, Japan, and Korea, now Mainland China has its own TV drama adaptation of Boys Over Flowers! Produced by Hunan TV, the 2009 Mainland idol drama Meteor Shower spins its own version of popular manga Hana Yori Dango's modern-day Cinderella tale of school, friendship, and romantic angst. After a lot of casting buzz, future superstars Zhu Zixiao, Zhang Han, and "Super Boys" Yu Haoming and Wei Chen became the newest members of the F4 club, while newcomer Zheng Shuang breaks out as the sassy heroine.
Despite her working class roots, tough and hardworking Yuxun (Zheng Shuang) manages to get into her dream school, the rich and exclusive Alliston Academy. But her lifestyle and values couldn't be more different than that of her privileged classmates, especially the notorious F4. Rich, handsome, and arrogant, Yunhai (Zhang Han), Lei (Yu Haoming), Shuo (Wei Chen), and Ruiqian (Zhu Zixiao) are the kings of the school. To rebel against their parents' rule, they raise a lot of trouble on campus in hopes of getting expelled, but no one dares challenge them. No one, that is, except Yuxun!

Best version of F4
| I like this version. The story line is different from the other 3 version of F4. The actors and actresses may look young and not that good looking like the other 3 version but they are cutie in their own way and their acting is better than the Korean actors and actresses. This version is sweet and cutie. |

Not another ruling F4!
Not another ruling F4!
| Expect disappointment if you wished to see another memorable Boys Before Flowers kind of dramas. The story is slightly different from another F4 stories that have been launched. Actress is sweet and cute, the main actor too, but they look too young compare to the Taiwan, Japan and Korea's F4. |
