After Taiwan, Japan, and Korea, now Mainland China has its own TV drama adaptation of the popular manga Hana yori Dango! Produced by Hunan TV, the Mainland version Meteor Shower has received lots of buzz before it comes out August 2009. The idol drama stars future superstars Zhu Zixiao, Zhang Han, and "Super Boys" Yu Haoming and Wei Chen as F4, with newcomer Zheng Shuang breaking out as Tsukushi.

The original soundtrack album includes the principal plug sung by the handsome quartet, "Let Me Sing a Song for You", their opening theme "The Story of the Starry Sky", plus the ending theme "The Flight I Want" by popular singer-songwriter Xu Fei. One can also find a solo song from each of the four male leads, "Love Waltz" in both a Zheng Shuang solo version and a bonus duet version, and a couple of instrumental tracks. What's more, the soundtrack CD comes with a Bonus DVD containing the music videos of "Let Me Sing a Song for You" and "Love Waltz" (duet version).
