現代の台湾を描く6つの物語の序章として企画された、ひとりの女性の愛の喪失と再出発を描いた物語。監督に「悲情城市」「フラワーズ･オブ･シャンハイ」のホウ･シャオシェン。ふたりの男性の間で揺れ動く主人公を「トランスポーター」「クローサー」など、アジアのみならず世界的に活躍するスー・チーが演じている。夜の台北で始まり、東京、そして冬の夕張へと、ビッキーの揺れ動く心と共に移りゆく美しい風景も感動的だ。
