SS501 Mini Album - Rebirth (Normal Edition)August 17, 2010 Nice Music
All the tracks are good in this CD, but "Love Like This" stands out to me the most. I am impressed with their skills as singers. The packaging is unique - open it kind of like a pizza box, and then inside is the CD with a slide-in slide-out case and then there's the booklet beneath it. I thought the booklet was pretty typical, but it does have a good selection of pictures of each of the members. I wanted to give this album 4.5 stars, but it seems like I can't go in between! ^.^
SS501 - Destination (Normal Edition)August 17, 2010 Beautiful
All of SS501's music in this album is beautiful and soothing. They know how to sing! I didn't know that this is possibly their last album, and that makes me sad because I just recently got hooked to their music and I was really looking forward to future releases. The booklet is good - nice pictures of the guys and overall very artistic. Again, all the tracks are wonderful!
SHINee 2nd Mini Album - RomeoAugust 17, 2010 Good, but not their best
I enjoyed this CD, particularly the first three tracks. The remaining ones are also good but, unlike most of SHINee's music, I did not get hooked to them. The package is long - rectangular shaped. The booklet is done well, as is usual from SHINee! :D Overall good job. SHINee produces quality stuff!
SHINee Vol. 2 - LUCIFER (Type A)August 17, 2010 Superb
I think this album beats SHINee's first album, which was already great. SHINee has their unique style of music that is to die for! Before this album came out I didn't bother to memorize who is who, nor to recognize whose voice is whose. This album inspired me to get to know each of the guys more. There is not one track that I skip! All are UNIQUE and in general the CD has a great mixture of music. Their title track, "Lucifer" is very catchy and is one of my favorite tracks of the album. The mv is cool, too. My other favorites are "Wowowow", "A-Yo" (OMG I melt at this one), "Obsession", "Ready or Not", and "Love Pain". "Up and Down" cracks me up but I love it. Its melody is so cute! The photo book is very good - great pictures, great creativity.
I waited a long time for SHINee's second full album to come out and I am thoroughly satisfied.
Gummy 1st Mini Album - Loveless1 people found this review helpful
August 17, 2010 This is Talent
Gummy is a talented singer. She has a beautiful voice and knows how to express it in her music. I first learned about her through her mvs of "Because You're a Man" and "There is no Love". I heard these two songs and knew I just had to buy the CDs that had them. Luckily, BOTH amazing tracks are on this album! After I had already decided to buy it, I discovered "그만 헤어져" and absolutely fell in love with her music. This song is by far my favorite of the album. The packaging is creative, too.
Beast 2nd Mini Album – Shock Of The New EraAugust 17, 2010 WOW AGAIN
They did it AGAIN! This album is just as good as their first mini album. My favorite tracks are "Shock" and "Say No". Good lyrics, good singers, good melodies... The other tracks are awesome as well. Once again, their photo book is great! The packaging is big - rectangular shaped this time. I rarely encounter mini albums of this kind of superb quality! Great music, great package effort! :) :D :)

August 17, 2010 WOW
SUCH A GREAT START. These guys created a new style of kpop and nailed it. The CD is a nice variety of music, and every song is memorable! It's electronic/dance/rap. From this album my favorite track is definitely "Oasis" - love the lyrics and music. It's BEAUTIFUL. Then I also really like their "Beast is Best" and "Mystery". "Beast is Best" gets me on my feet! The packaging is kinda big...The photo book is well-done. Recommended for any kpop fan!
Troublemaker (Normal Edition)(Japan Version)August 17, 2010 Great
"Troublemaker" has a really cheerful mood. I become happy and jumpy whenever I listen to it, and, like many of Arashi's other hit songs, this one was stuck in my head for a while! I like that this item is a single but includes three main tracks, all of which are good. "Troublemaker" and "揺らせ、今を " are happy-feeling songs, while "もう一歩" is a different style, thus the CD has a nice balance of tracks. Arashi has a definite, unique style that I haven't seen in any other artist. Great j-pop. I also remember the music video being HILARIOUS. I laughed every time I watched it!
Monster (Normal Edition)(Japan Version)August 17, 2010 Unique
I like Arashi because their style of music is very unique and catchy, and "Monster", the title track, is definitely just that. Its amazing! I had it stuck in my head for a week! "スパイラル" is also good, and its style is similar to that of "Monster". Arashi is a band that knows how to sing!
Tae Yang Vol. 1 - Solar (Normal Edition)1 people found this review helpful
July 18, 2010 Nice
This album has a good variety of music, and TaeYang's beautiful voice really shines in his songs. I originally bought the CD for "Where You At" and "Wedding Dress", but I discovered that the other tracks are also very good! Some tracks are slower while others are faster, producing a good mix. The only song I skip is "You're My". All the other tracks are beautiful, and my favorites are "Solar", "Superstar", "I Need A Girl", "Move", "니가 잠든 후에", "Where You At", "Wedding Dress", and "Take It Slow". Well, that's almost the entire album! Still, "Wedding Dress" is the best track of the album. I think TaeYang is very unique and talented.
G-Dragon Vol. 1 - HeartbreakerOctober 2, 2009 GD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is G-Dragon's first solo album, and I must say I'm quite impressed. I always thought he was mostly a rapper because in Big Bang he mostly does rapping, and he's very good at it, but I thought his solo album would be 100% rap...kind of boring. I didn't have high expectations. I'm so glad I was wrong! He can both rap AND sing...incredibly!!!
I bought the CD for the track, "Heartbreaker". It's so amazing!!! It stands out from the rest of the album. I also really like "Breathe", "A Boy", "Gossip Man", and "Korean Dream". They are all very unique and catchy. My least favorite track is "Butterfly". I think GD was trying to use his voice in a different way for that particular track, but I didn't care for it.
I give the CD four stars because I personally don't care much for the rest of the songs. They're growing on me. Still, "Heartbreaker", "A Boy", "Gossip Man", "Breathe", and "Korean Dream" are fantastic and unforgetable!
Overall I think this album has a wide variety of music styles - a song for everybody to love.
Recommended for Big Bang fans!
BIGBANG (Normal Edition)(Japan Version)October 2, 2009 Fantastic
Big Bang is getting better all the time! I love every single track!!! My favorites are "Gara Gara Go!", "Stay", "Top of the World", "Follow Me", and "Emotion".
"Stay", though, is probably my favorite out of the favorites. It's different from any other songs I've heard - it's absolutely beautiful - the most beautiful Big Bang song so far. It's difficult to describe, but it's one of my all-time favorites ever now!
The album also has three songs ("My Heaven", "Baby Baby", and "Always") that were on their previous Japanese album (Number 1, released in 2008). The only difference in this album is that these three songs are sung in Japanese, rather than in English.
I can't stop listening to this new album!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait for new releases - Big Bang always leaves me wanting more! At first glance it seems a bit pricey, but it's worth it. Don't miss out on this - you'll regret it! :)
Untouchable Vol. 1 - Quiet StormAugust 2, 2009 Wow
I'm really impressed that Untouchable's first album was this good. Their style of music is a mix of rap and kpop.
My favorite song is "Driving Me Crazy". It's absolutely beautiful! I love every second of it! My other favorites are "Quiet Storm", "Tell Me Why", "It's Okay", and "Only U". I like how there were several songs that had guest singers. There were a couple tracks that I found were a little boring, but all the other great songs make the album STUNNING. I'm so glad I ran into Untouchable.
Super Junior Vol. 3 - Sorry, Sorry (Version C)August 2, 2009 100/10
I wish I could give these guys ten stars!!!!!!!!!!!
The album is really great because there is such a wide variety of music - I would be surprised if someone listened to the album and couldn't find a song they liked. My favorites are "Sorry Sorry", "It's you", "Reset", and "Monster", but I like all of them.
Just as a warning, Versions A and B of "Sorry Sorry" don't have some tracks that Version C does. For example, Version C has the song "It's You", but Version A doesn't. I would say that Version C is the best.
I can't wait for Super Junior's future music! I recommend this album for all kpop fans.
Son Dam Bi Vol. 1 - Type BAugust 2, 2009 Great New Kpop
Son Dam Bi is off on a great start! I was actually a bit hesitant in buying the album because I didn't have faith that her music would be catchy enough for me. I'm really glad that I was wrong! The songs are so catchy and unforgetable! My favorites are "토요일밤에", "Bad Boy", and "미쳤어". I enjoyed all of the songs except for "Twice Too Many Times", which is her only song in 100% English.
The album is filled with many cool pictures, too. Overall, she's excellent for any kpop fan! Son Dam Bi is very talented, and you won't regret buying her music!
Believe / Kumori Nochi, Kaisei (Normal Edition)(Japan Version)1 people found this review helpful
August 2, 2009 Beautiful
"Believe" is not my favorite Arashi single, but I still really like it. My favorite track is "Believe". "曇りのち、快晴" is also good, but I did not enjoy "トビラ" as much as I had hoped to. I recommend it for all jpop fans.
I really like how the "Believe" lyrics make me feel so happy. They are very good - the song is not about some cheesy love story! It's about life and how a person can reach their heart's true dream, even if it takes lots of pain and seems like it takes forever and ever. Don't give up - keep going - and eventually you can reach that dream.
Anyway, it's really good! Try it out!
Arashi - Truth (Normal Edition) (Korea Version)August 2, 2009 Love It
This single is soooo good! I can't stop listening to it! My favorite track is "Truth", but the other tracks are also very good. This is a must buy, whether you're an Arashi fan or not! The music is up-tempo and it is excellent jpop.
Epik High Vol. 5 - Pieces, Part OneAugust 2, 2009 Great
This was my first Epik High album, and I'm really glad I have it! These guys are very talented and are definitely worth looking into. My favorite tracks are "One" and "Breakdown". "One" is REALLY good - it's one of my favorite songs ever! As for "Breakdown", it's really catchy and irresistible.
I give it four stars because I didn't really enjoy the short pieces very much. They're not bad, but I actually found them just a bit weird...
If you're new to Epik High, I recommend this album. If you don't like rap, though, don't buy it. (Although the rap is FANTASTIC...)
Big Bang Vol. 1 - Since 2007August 2, 2009 Nice
I was introduced to "Since 2007" after I bought Big Bang's "Number 1" album. In "Since 2007", the style of music is more like pop than electronica dance, which was the style in "Numer 1". Nevertheless, Big Bang's "Since 2007" is really good! My favorite tracks are "My Girl", "La La La", "She Can't Get Enough", and "Dirty Cash". This album is very diverse. Some songs are slower and others get you up dancing!
I do prefer their "Number 1" album, but this one is good, too. I recommend it for all Big Bang and general pop fans.
Son Ho Young Single - Sweet Love1 people found this review helpful
July 10, 2009 Great
I really like "My Heart's in Heaven". I was first introduced to Son Ho Young through his song "I Know" (Which is now one of my favorite songs ever!), and then I looked into more Son Ho Young songs and ran into "My Heart's in Heaven". That one is also one of my favorites now! The other songs in the single are good, too. If you like "My Heart's in Heaven", I'm sure you'll like the other tracks. I hope that Son Ho Young becomes more well known, because he's a talented singer - his voice is a treasure - so he deserves the attention.
I recommend this single and any of his other albums to any kpop fan! :)
