2005년 11월 초에 발매 예정인 신인그룹 “Monday Kiz” 1집 앨범!!!

이번 앨범에서 주목할만한 점은, 국내 최고의 작곡가들이 총 출동! “Monday Kiz” 1집 앨범 작업에 매달렸다는 점이다.

총 18트랙으로 구성된 이번 앨범의 타이틀곡 ‘Bye Bye Bye’는 휘성의 ‘With me’, SG 워너비의 ‘죄와벌’, 거미의 ‘기억상실’ 등 수많은 타이틀곡을 써낸 김도훈이 작곡했다. 미디움 템포의 R&B곡으로 한국적인 감성이 녹아든 애절한 멜로디와 호소력 짙은 ‘먼데이 키즈’의 음색이 어우러져 듣는 이를 압도한다. 특히 이 곡에는 시각 장애인 재즈 하모니카 연주자 전제덕씨가 하모니카를 직접 연주해 완성도를 더했다. 타이틀곡 외에 SG워너비를 연상시키는, 역시 김도훈의 두번째 야심작 ‘부르고 불러도, 이승철의 ‘긴하루’, 윤도현의 ‘사랑했나봐’를 작곡한 전해성 특유의 리듬과 편안한 멜로디라인으로 이별의 아픔을 노래한 ‘두 가지 일’, ‘내 맘 모르지’. 극도로 슬픈 가사와 팝 멜로디가 어우러진 신예 작곡가 이현승의 ‘상처투성이’. 세븐의 ‘와줘’, 드래곤 플라이의 ‘사진’을 작곡한 윤승환의 감미로운 R&B 발라드 ‘Promise’. 특히 이 곡은 그룹 원티드의 2집 앨범에 수록될 예정이었던 곡으로 데모곡 당시 원티드의 가이드 보컬 가운데 고 서재호군의 목소리가 생생히 담겨져 있어 먼데이 키즈 멤버들이 더욱 애착을 가지고 녹음한 곡이다 .

또한 빅마마, 휘성, 거미, 일락 등 수많은 가수들의 프로듀싱을 해왔던 작곡가 홍정수의 팝 발라드곡 ‘속죄’, 현악 연주와 다이나믹 하면서도 강한 비트가 조화를 이룬 전형적인 네오 소울 장르의 곡 ‘너도 아파봐’, 경쾌한 리듬의 부드러운 곡 ‘Loving you’ 등을 비롯 ‘사랑’ 이라는 테마를 중심으로 총 18트랙을 담아 냈다

i listened to all the songs from the album and my favourite is definitely bye bye bye. monday kiz reminds me of sg wannabe A LOT .. but i wouldn't recommend buying the album, they don't have enough hits for it to be worth it

Best New Duo.... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
yes they are new to the music scene just debutted on Nov 05 but their singing skills and vocal is far from amatuers,they sounded so good vocally and harmony...when i saw their live performance in korea tv i am amazed because their singing was flawless and harmony was perfect...i hope they will be the next big thing in korea music scene after the succesfull of SG Wannabe...the awesome trio which also have amazing and beautiful vocals and harmony, ironically Monday Kiz came from the same record label as Sg Wannabe....I strongly recommend Monday Kiz 1st Album its just so good...their title track Bye Bye Bye is catchy enough to the ears and whats more can i say about their vocal...its perfect ...this duo is just so talented..
