An Absolute Favorite!

This album is one of my top 2 favorite Gackt albums (this and REBIRTH). It starts out with a bang. ‘Lu:na’ is one of those amazing Gackt tracks where he uses sexy vocals during verses and has amazing alto vocals during the chorus. This is a song is so loud and hype and I love seeing performed with his back up dancing team. ‘Wasurenai kara’ is one of my all time top favorite released singles by Gackt. I love his low sexy vocals and the amazing message behind the lyrics. This is one of the tracks that I feel has a lot of passion and really touches a part of me every time I hear it. I love watching him perform this. ‘speed master’ is a hardcore track that speaks of love and pleasure. If you ever just need to rock out, this is the song to do it with. You go crazy without even realizing it. ‘Fragrance’ is a slow sexy track. It’s very poetic and one of a kind. This is the only Gackt track like it out of all his music. ‘death wish’ is a very creative track that has an amazing use of Bass and high squeaking guitar sounds. The dance to this track is amazing. This is another one of my favorites. ‘Dooms Day’ is one of my favorite medium rock tracks by Gackt. I love how this song plays with soft vocals and then all of a sudden turns to loud strong vocals. The song is a perfect example of use of ups and downs in musical pitch. I feel this song is very skillful are creative. ‘missing’ is a slower track with nice acoustics and uplifting vocals. It makes you want to smile. ‘rain’ is a powerful track with a ballad feel. The passion in vocals makes you feel his inner turmoil and pain. The lyrics are also very strong. Meanwhile, ‘Another World’ is fun punk-like song. The fast lyrics and catchy chorus make you just want to sing along. Lastly, ‘memories’ is an acoustic influenced track with higher vocals. The lyrics speak of promises and gives a more cheerful message. The song makes you think of a pure blue summer sky. Overall, this album is amazing one. It really gives the listener good imagery with every track. |

Gackt's Best Album?
|
Rating score: Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10 The logical step after becoming Hyde's fan is to become one of of Gackt's too, right? This is exactly what has happened to me, lol! I don't place Gackt on the same musical level as Hyde because the former is a classic rocker regardless. But as an overall performing artist, Gackt is hard to beat in any sense! (I hope my statement here will make up for the slight that Gackt fans/dears think I place on our idol.) This album is probably my favorite Gackt album base on its music compositions. My favorite tracks are Fragrance, memories, rain, and wasurenaikara in that order. Lu:na, Doomsday and Missing are 4 stars tracks. Fragrance is a soft rock with very nice beats and melody. Gackt's voice is very soothing in this track and I just love it. Rain is a typical Gackt rock ballad showing his emotions and feelings with quite a bit of violin at the later part of the track. The last track, Memories is divided into 3 main parts of which the first two have the recurring themes that you find in Gackt's rock ballads. The last one third of Memories is my favorite. If Gackt did not enlist You, his guitar and violin player's help to compose this part, then Gackt is truly a well rounded musician because it is absolutely beautiful in any classical sense. If I'm not mistaken, this is the ending music that made the fans crying with tears as they were leaving his Moon concert. |

EVERYONE knows that Gackt is a good singer with a complete unique voice. Sure, the cover's cool and everything. But...I find it weird. I know I'm not the only one thinking this out there, but....Gackt's voice. It has so much emotion and feeling, and soon either you're crying or on the floor singing it. I personally went through at least one tissue box (literally) when I listened to this. If you are a Gackt fan, you definatly need to buy. (I reccomend the songs Lust For Blood and Rain) |

Underrated

I've seen alot of reviews on other sites stating how much they hated this album. I've listened to it 4 times in 2 days. The only problem I have with it is that the cover is a little off with the sound of the album. Lol. Noah and Lu:na, however, fit with it. The album is great; I only have one complaint on one song,a nd that's it; Soleil. Bizarre. It sorta weirds me out, but it's not a bad song at all. I love Gackt now. He's converted me to a fan. I never thought a male J-rocker could do that, since I'm so used to Ayumi and Utada. |

Gackt's best album

I completely agree with Chiru-chan that the first time I listened to this album it didn't seem as good as it is now. The more you listen to it the more I like. I surely recomend this album to everyone no matter if you are a Gackt fan or not. I Personally I can't help listening to it. |
