rising superstar Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Once every few years a rare talent comes along, one that stands heads above the industry standard - I'm talking about artists like Chihiro Onitsuka, Maaya Sakamoto, and Mika Nakashima, who have an irrestible style, an ability undeniable by any critic, and seem to only get better as time goes on. I believe Yunna is the next great talent to come to the Japanese music scene - her clear voice, clean image, cute looks, and vibrant spirit rival that of any established superstar. I first heard her with the BLEACH anime ending 'Houki boshi' which gave me the impression that her style was more pop-rock than ballad-pop (but captivated me nonetheless!), but I was pleasantly surprised - she doesn't need overbearing instrumentals to carry her own tune - 'Motto Futari de' is another leap in that direction. There is more focus on her piano playing in this song, and Yunna sees it through brilliantly with the same lively spirit as her voice. Her versatile voice is heard in both tracks in her ability to hit both high and low notes with ease and precision, and it seems she's only getting better. I believe she's worked extremely hard to get to where she is - there's a bright future ahead for her. I await her first album with eager anticipation! **Thanks to Qoogirl for writing an EXCELLENT review with useful history and great references to other artists - she said so much so well that I had to take a different approach in this review.

An Upcoming Star to be Noticed! Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
Yunna (aka YounHa) is a 17 year old girl with a mature voice begging to be noticed. Making her biggest debut on last year's 2004 Japanese TV Drama, "Tokyo Wankei" with her song "Yubikiri" (Pinky Promise), Yunna has kept strong and her vocals prove its worth the hard work. I was surprised when I heard "Motto Futari de"--the rhythm and piano are 99% like that aiko, but her voice is clear, resonant, and as strong as shela, hitomi, Sasegawa Miwa, and YUI! The following "If" is a lovely upbeat ballad with sweet guitar that reminds me of Hoshimura Mai. If you love any of the artists I've mentioned, you'll love Yunna's sweet hip-country-pop-ballad voice. She has certainly surprised me. If anything lacks on this single, it's that it's too short!
