Another great Choi Ji Woo drama Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I had never even heard of this drama until I saw it advertised on this site. The two main reasons I decided to give this drama a chance were Choi Ji Woo (Winter Sonata) & Kim Seung Woo (Hotelier). I was already a huge fan of both actors and now I love them even more. This drama is funny, sweet, and very touching. I especially love the ending. And the music is very sweet & fun and fits the drama perfectly. This drama is a definite must-see for any Ji Woo fan!!

Unromantic drama Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
First, did I miss something? Why is this drama series titled “Mr. Duke”? I bought this DVD since I like Choi Ji Woo after seeing her in “Stairway to Heaven” and “Celebrity Lover”. I find the drama to be too dragging at times. I know that there were funny moments with the supporting actors; otherwise, without them I really think this drama would be boring. There was no chemistry between Choi Ji Woo and Kim Seung Woo. I think one factor of that was the lack of background music. The concept was good, but it lacks a romantic factor throughout the series.

Story is fairytale like but realistic. Ending is unusual but very creatively done. Great Job directors. Choi Ji Woo is so exquisite, well-dressed and princess-like ..yet kind and down-to-earth as a rich girl. She is not a spoiled princess for sure. Kim Seung Woo did a great job acting in this; much better than Hotelier. He looks charming in the tuxedo and can pass off as an Oxford don! The theme song, "You Can Get It If You Really Want!" is so appropriate. You will never get bored watching it for sure.

Lighthearted drama. Not as gripping as others, but fun to watch. Some other reviewers wrote the acting was unconvincing and I'm wondering if they missed the point. It's supposed to be campy and a caricature of itself, not serious. Interesting ending leaves you wondering exactly what happened.

In my opinion both male and female leads are a little disappointing, even wth the beautiful outfits and shoes, particularly CJW's elegant hair styles. The drama gets better near the end. The father character impresses me most but the baddie - Kang Sing Yi (in the drma) is so disgusting but by no means a good actor.

I have been keeping this series for along time. Just finish watching it. ... it's really nice. Nice clothes of Choi Ji Woo and Kim seung woo played his role as a water delivery man pretty well. I would say this a perfect frog prince. Watch it.

Very nice and well put together drama. Choi Ji Woo is beautiful as always and Kim Seung Woo is adorable. Hotelier is one of my favorite dramas, because I liked him in that so much, I decided to try Mr. Duke. I enjoyed the banter between the two characters also. A heartfelt performance by both actors. I would recommend this series.

I bought this series as I liked it when I watched it for the first time. In this copy, I found that the last episode doesn't have Original Sound Track. It's really weird. I protested to YesAsia, only getting the response that there is nothing they can do. They should have recalled all of the copies, but they didn't.

I loved this series from the begining to the end. KIM SEUNG WOO a lot better in this series than in HOTELIER. I loves CHOI JI WOO. She so beautiful and so classy.I likes the way she carried herself so gracefully. And every outfits, every purses and shoes she wears all looks like a millions dollars. Everything about her screams out . . I am a princess. When some other actress who played rich girls in other dramas looks worse than my next door neighbor. Just like JUNG HYE YOUNG in LAWYERS. She had no manners of the rich and famous. She doesn't know how to ask for the service kindly. She just barks out the orders with bad attitudes. And whenever they up-closed on her hands and her feet, I got to looks away. It so ugly and dirty. Rich girls will not have fungus toes nails like that. UGH!!!

the main actress choi ji woo is good in this show. they make her look like a rich princess. but she not spoiled or anything. she just wants her father to leave her alone and stop meddling in her love life. she just wants to go to school in England but he keeps bugging her to marry a rich guy who will save the company. she got mad and got a fake boyfriend. the main actor kim seung woo is the fake boyfriend. and he is kind of cute in an old fashion way. i like when he get dress up in suit it make him look handsome. i like when he acting shy. this show is good and fun to watch. never get tire or bore from this show. it is very good can watch many times.
