Chinese only with full sized patterns in the book. I really like the animals in this book more than the others. Cute ideas. Instructions are in Chinese only with full sized patterns. This series of books appears to be in written instructions, again if you don't read Chinese, you will need to know patterns and how to put them together. They are easy enough to make. This DIY book has some really cute animals to make. Again, like the books in the series, the instructions are written and not in picture diagrams. These are easy enough, and I think the patterns are marked better that it's easier to put together if you don't read Chinese. Full size patterns included. Very cute, hand held sized animals. December 13, 2006 Making AnimalsThis DIY series was not what I expected. Although the ideas are cute, the instructions are strictly written without picture directions like other books. Chinese only, full size patterns included. Although this book is suppose to be easy, you need to know what the patterns pieces are and follow the actual completed project to put them together. I didn't realize it was a kit. It's nice and comes with several pieces of felt to make the character. The character of the McMug Series is a pig. Perfect for the upcoming Year of the Boar in 2007. I would totally recommend this book especially if your a pig collector or like pigs. Chinese only. Full size patterns included in book. Good pictorial instructions if you can't read Chinese. Jersey stuffed animals
November 7, 2006 Stuffed DollsAnother Aranzi Aronzo book of characters. These dolls are made from what appears to be cotton jersey fabric. The facial features are cut out of felt and sewn on. These dolls are also between 9-15". Full sized patterns included with step by step instructions for each doll. Japanese only.

Aranzi Aronzo fans will love this book of dolls. Full size patterns included and step by step instructions for each project. Dolls include, Rabbit, Dog, Girl, Turtles, Pig, and Bear just to name a few. The main fabric used appears to be cotton or stretch cotton with Felt features. Definitely a must have for Fans and a nice addition to a growing Japanese craft book collection. The dolls are of average (various) sizes from 9-15". Japanese only. Did you find this review helpful? I would recommend this book for anyone who loves making Teddy Bears. The tutorial is step by step and includes full size patterns. Japanese only.

November 7, 2006 Extra Mini Dolls
These are extremely small dolls. Actual pattern pieces are included. I found the instructions were not as detailed as other Japanese craft books I've purchased. The book is the size of "pocket" type books - small. The projects are machine stitched but can be hand stitched as well. These projects would be alittle difficult for a beginner.

However, to give you an idea of what the cover is, there are felt mascots of chicks, monkey with guitar, 2 bears, and pencil covers. Very cute items to make. Other animals included are, Arctic animals, rabbits, dog/cat, mermaid, a few Halloween and Xmas mascots. Full size patterns included. Japanese only. October 22, 2006 FELT CREATIONSThe other title for this book listed with a cover pic is "Bu Zhi Bu Wa Wa Jia Shi Pin". If you like making dolls/mascots and working with felt, then you should get this book. Billingual - Chinese/English with full size patterns. Some of the ideas in this book are, welcome sign, card holder, pin cushion, pencil covers, Kleenex cover, and do not disturb sign. All dolls are made with stocking type heads and the rest is felt. Excellent ideas for every occasion. I totally recommend this book if you want to add to your library of making mascots/dolls with a creative twist and wonderful gifts to make and give.

The dolls are made from wool/yarn and that's it. The entire doll's form is made around the wool. Excellent book also is Bilingual (Chinese/English). I would love to see more from this author as these are just some of the cutest little dolls I've seen in a long time.
