I think this t.v serie is really stupid. It's just like all Korean entertainment. There is always a love triangle, and stupidly the main girl is always running back and forth between the two guys. And something that I find really annoying not just in this t.v serie, but including ALL t.v series and movies; why are the main girls always straggling along, like they are being drag by the guys all the time. That just shows that those girls are just too stupid and naive. Kim Sam-soon is always mumbling, you can't even hear what she is trying to say; THANK GOODNESS FOR SUBTITLES!!!! Overall it was really boring it was like tug-a-war again and again; it's like get to the POINT already!!!It's like watching the same clip over and over again with just a little here and there. After the 10th episode I had it with Korean Entertainment. Oh and another thing, why does every Korean entertainment always have some kind of cancer or illness involved. I think it's about time to make it more enjoyable because it's a waste of money to buy a movie that is similar to all your other movies as well. The movie and t.v industries should really come up with something new because it's getting OLD!!!!

Once Hyun Bin declares his love for Sam Soon, the story was super all the way till the end. The courting scenes are all so sweet and delightful and I like the scenes when Hyun Bin met Sam Soon's mother. The actress who played Sam Soon delivers the part perfectly. You'll like her. This is a drama that you will want to watch again.

I love My Lovely Kim Sam Soon! It's my favorite on par with My Girl. Kim Sam Soon is a different type of heroine rather than the normal bouncy young girl. The story line is completely different from others and it strays from the normal "lovers square." The cast also performed very well. I can't wait to purchase the Kim Sam Soon Ultimate Collection and I know I won't regret it. It'll be worth every single cent. I am very much anticipating on the second season.

I watched "My Lovely Sam-Soon" for the first time last autumn and thoroughly enjoyed it. In fact, I gobbled it up, watching the entire series in only a couple days. I just viewed it again for a second time and enjoyed it even more. I know that in the future I will return again and again to this series. It really is that good!

What makes this series work so well is the superb casting. All of the actors, even the ones in relatively minor parts, give fine performances perfectly tuned to their roles. Of course, the best performance of all is Kim Soon Ah as Kim Sam-Soon. Seldom do we have a chance to see an acting performance as brave, as hilarious, and as moving as Miss Kim delivers here.

Very, very highly recommended.

I totally bought this based on reviews, they were all positive, so I was hoping for the best. I was not disappointed. Sam Soon, was wonderful. Kim Sun Ah was so funny, and I loved that she's tough and stands up for herself, it urks me so much to watch women in the sweet, never say a bad thing ever roles, over an over again. Her strength, sense of self, and perserverence was so refreshing. I definitely reccommend this to other strong women looking for a character somewhat representative of themselves. Oh and that Daniel Henney, he was surprisingly good!! So natural, and of course gorgeous! A must watch! I was slightly annoyed with the male lead, he was good in his role but geez, the way it was written, I wanted to smack the crap out of him a few times, which I guess means he did a good job acting. I am already watching it again - I just finished it last week.

Sweet, Funny, and Refreshing Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Last week I was flipping by the local Chinese station and saw a guy carrying this drunk girl who was beating him over the head with a stuffed pig. The girl reminded me of my girlfriend, who happens to be born in the year of the pig, so it really caught my attention. The show seemed interesting and I needed to brush up on my Chinese, so I started to watch and got hooked.

I didn't know it was dubbed into Mandarin and was a Korean TV show until after that first episode when I started to research the show on the Internet.

Now I can say I am a fan of the show. I found and went back to watch the first few episodes I missed in Korean with English subtitles, continued to watch the dubbed shows on TV and found this website and ordered the ultimate gift collection, which I hope makes it over here. Plan on giving my girl the large stuffed pig and the pig cellphone ornament, but I'm planning on holding onto the DVD and soundtracks.

This show is just charming. The characters are well done with the main guy being the silent, strong, mysterious type women love being with. Sam-Soon is just a 'real,' character with faults, insecurities, bad habits, and dreams who got her heart ripped out. Anyone who has been in love and has gotten dumped could relate to her feelings.

The side stories with the restaurant staff and their own desires and hopes add flavor. Seeing Hyun Bin's character get beat down by his on-screen mother at his age is hilarious. Seeing Sam-Soon's sister get beat on because she got divorced is funny as well.

The music, original songs, and use of English songs/piano is excellent. This series has that perfect combo of great story, strong characters, good actors with chemistry, good filming and good music. They have all the right elements and it comes together.

There is just an endless series of scenes that are memorable from multiple characters and I was hooked and have been entertained with every episode so far. I've seen 1-7 so far and I have no regrets paying $140 for this package. This is the type of show where I'd loan the DVD's to family and friends and tell them it is a must see if they enjoy romantic comedy, but they better return the DVD's fast because I never know when I'd want to watch the series again.

Kim Sun Ah is just fantastic in her role here. She is gorgeous thin, but I really don't find her 'overweight and old,' in the series. In fact, I found her incredibly attractive in here as well. She has that face that is usually serious, but when she smiles it just lights up the room.

I'm glad I stopped on that local Asian channel and started watching. The only bad part is the series is only 16 episodes long and I'm going to be finished with it soon.

I love this show. My husband is a Korea American and he is always watching AZN. Well we watched My Lovely Sam Soon for the first time and it ended just a few weeks ago. I am now sad. I miss the show very much.
I want more. I wish they would do a part 2 to see how things turn out for everyone. They left so many guestions unanswered.

I loved it all the same and hope to see more. For now I will watch the episodes over again.

I am an American who can't find enough Korean tv shows to watch. I became addicted after happening upon MY LOVELY SAM-SOON. This is one of the best actresses I've ever seen, such a beautiful and nuanced performance. In America, we pretend that there is no class system, & pretend that women are "equal" - Korean dramas don't pretend that they consider woman equal, which is at least HONEST. And it is refreshing, that K-dramas are truthful about the presence of a class structure. And as the youngest of 3 daughters, Samsoon gets the short end of everything. In my country, the baby of the family is usually the most spoiled. From my Western eyes, Samsoon is very beautiful, certainly NOT fat, not even close.She also has more strength of character than anyone since "Jang-Guem". (These are both incredible performers who I would like to see more of in the future.) WHATEVER YOU DO, PLEASE DO NOT DO NOT broadast any Korean dramas dubbed in Enlish. I don't understand the language, but with the excellent level of performances, I don't need to - the subtitles are perfect. I beleive strongly that hearing the shows with the actors own voices & language is integral to the shows beauty & impact. Without this, it would take away from the real emotion we get from the actors tone of voice. Samsoon is a stunning victory for gals everywhere, yet romance wins the day, which we all like to see. I want to buy this, and also DAE JANG-GEUM. Love Lady Choi. Our Bette Davis got nuthin on her!!! Thank you, thank you!!!

Im not fun of watching Korean Dramas like this until my friend reccommended me to watch this drama.So i buy this drama at Yesasia.The first time i watched the 1st episode of the drama,I really get hooked!!! Oh my gosh!Thanks to my friend who reccommend me this drama. This drama is very funny... I always laugh in every episodes. I enjoyed this drama so much from episode 1-16.
I Love Hyun Bin so much!!! He is very handsome and hot!!! He is such a cute hunk !!! I am very happy everytime i see him!!! Im such a Hyun Bin die hard fan!!! I also love Kim Sam-Soon even though she is chubby,She could still be preety. I admire her acting so much. She is such an excellent actress. The cast of this drama also did a great job like Jung Ryeo Won and Danniel Henney.
Theres a lot of emotions i feel while watching this drama.I laugh,cry and a lot of emosionsi feel because of watching this drama.
I really, really love this series very much!!! Im addiccted with this drama!!! Love this so much. I reccommend you to watch this series for sure you will love it. Im begging to you to watch this series. Please support this series. I enjoyed this series so much even the ost and the 2 cute pigs. I love everything about this drama!!!

Loved it. Hyun bin was such a cutie, & Kim sun ah was a very good actor. The storyline was different from others, which made it unique. Some parts were kind of ' slow ', but overall it made it in one of my top10 korean dramas. =) If your a hyun bin lover, its definitely a must watch. & If you like those funny, but yet romantic & sad, like [ Full house & My Girl ] then you`ll want to watch this one,trust me.
