Funny movie Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I enjoyed this movie, I laughed many times, although I got a little tired with Charlene after an hour or so...and I`m her biggest fan, ha ha! Maybe it`s just Yoyo who is, to put it mildly, a little too much at times, and I certainly wouldn`t like to have to live in her house like Cheung has to...! I think Ekin Cheng is a good actor. He`s got good comedic timing and reacts well to the things his co-actors say and do. He also knows how to be serious, which made this movie more meaningful.
The English translation is horrible! Also it`s quite a challenge to hear Mandarin and Cantonese spoken at the same time, with subtitles in the middle! But it`s an enjoyable movie all the same. It puts you in a good mood, which I`m sure it was meant to do!

ekin & charlene Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I thought this movie was pretty good, Charlene acts as someone who just turned 18 and Ekin as a guy who is 12 years older and he takes forever to finish his degree in which I believe is London. His grandmother wants to see him marry off before she dies so he has an arranged marriage with Charlene... Overall, this is an enjoyable movie to watch with your friends.

My Little bride-ish? Customer Review Rated Bad 5 - 5 out of 10
This sounds like this other movie, check out the korean movie "My little Bride". The story is the same. Except that in the korean movie, the girl was fifteen years old and the guy was in his senior year in college. But, I think the movie is okay.

Good story Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
"My Wife is 18" has a good story. About a 30 year-old psychology student in England, named Cheung (Ekin Cheng) and an 18 year-old high school student who attends an all girl school, named Yoyo (Charlene Choi). They are both set up by their families to get married. Yoyo is very perky and lots of boys like her. Cheung keeps trying to write a thesis about woman, but the three women professors do not accept his theories and ideas, and he does not get passed. When Cheung meets Yoyo and they get married, they have an agreement to divorce after one year, and she becomes his study for his thesis. Cheung goes to Hong Kong and lives with Yoyo so that he can observe her.

I think the story is good. Charlene is cute and perky as like in her other movies. Ekin is okay, his acting is ordinary. I don't really like the pairing of Ekin and Charlene. Even though the story says that Cheung is older than Yoyo by twelve years, I just don't like the pairing of them.

Please are they really that desperate, do they really have to put many amature actors in one movie?
Rubbish movie a waste of time!

Hong Kong Lacks of Actresses? Customer Review Rated Bad 1 - 1 out of 10
It seems to me that Hong Kong lacks of actresses lately. I don't know what charm and acting skills Twins has got, but they're starring literally in every single Hong Kong movies. I don't hate them, but you'll get sick of them seeing them in every single Hong Kong movies. Even in the latest movie, Andy Lau is paired up with one of them. Please, Hong Kong film industries, if you don't want to lose to Korean film industries, stop using pop icons to be put into your every single movies. I'm sure there are other talented actresses you have. Please, use real actors!

I think this movie is awesome !! Ekin and Ah Sa is really good at this movie. They really acted liked a real couple in this movie. Also I think Ah Sa really improved in her acting. This movie has hilarious parts and romance which makes me enjoyed this movie and the characters acts really good. I have this movie and I have seen it more than 20 times and still enjoys it right now. I do recommend that people that have not seen this movie before should rent or buy it.
