    I Have Nothing But Praise For This Album Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
    This album is a must for music lovers, regardless whether you're his fan or not. After listening to this album, you may feel the same way I felt about this album ...... happy, sad, ...... an emotional rollercoaster. I love most songs in the album. But I love the idea of listening to his explanation of music he composed and lyrics other lyricists written (except for the English song - Rocky Road, in which Danny composes and writes the song) and comments on how he feels about the songs in general. Some songs recorded in this album is so much about me, especially Disc 1: Tracks 2 and 14, which sort of made me emotional. I'm still waiting, waiting ...... for my destiny with a young Chinese lady. Never dated in my life and I'm 28. Call my naive if you like. But this is the true me. Anyway, I believe you'll love this album as much as I did. God bless Mr. Danny Chan. Peace be with you.

    this is a wonderful album with lots of his great songs in it, it is warm to hear him speaking as though he is around with us, unlike listening to an ordinary album. he speaks on his various experiences and the journey of his discovery to music. great, down to earth.

     My Words For Danny Chan Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
    These are my following thoughts on Danny Chan's 2 CD "My Word" (Deluxe Version): The songs were well picked for the CD with short interludes of Danny talking about his songs. Some songs are expressing my present feelings. It looks as if Danny can sing my mind. At times, I felt like crying. That's how infectious the songs are. It's a very personal experience. I believe this CD set will have a profound effect on you after you listened to it.

     Absolutely outstanding Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
    I rarely give out a perfect score to a CD album. But for this CD I have no choice. This CD compilation contains some of the best works by Danny Chan. The album contains over 30 great songs that I never get tired of. Songs like "Wait," "Ripple," and "Tears for you" are perhaps the best songs of the 80s. More impressive is that almost all the songs are entirely produced by Chinese - which was rare in the 80s. The melody, the arrangement and the lyrics are all a class above the canton pops nowadays. But the main point of this CD is to remember Danny. As a bonus, this CD contains Danny's commentary about his songs and his personal life. Danny may have left us, but his songs will never be forgotten. For any music lovers (esp for those who are not familiar with Danny's songs), this CD is a must have.

    It had been ten years since Danny left us. Time certainly flies. It was very nice to hear his voice one more time. I like the arrangement of this set of 2 CDs, comments between songs. I spent two nights listening to these and felt like I was actually listening to a radio talk show hosted by Danny Chan himself. The songs in the CDs became more valuable after you hear the stories behind them and they were made etc. This set of CDs should be a collector item.
