Fun, expertly-choreographed action sequences are the big ticket in Naughty Boys, an enjoyable eighties action-comedy produced by Jackie Chan! Frequent Jackie Chan cohort Mars stars as Sing, an ex-con who's supposed to dig up the buried loot of his three still-jailed buddies...but when he gets to it, he finds that the treasure chest is full of rocks! The other three are convinced that Sing stole the goods for himself, so Sing decides to hide out with his kick-butt cousin Kuen, played with athletic aplomb by kung-fu princess Kara Wai Ying Hung! But some insurance investigators (Carina Lau and Billy Lau) are also after the loot, and there's even a mousy travel agent (future director Fok Yiu Leung) thrown in for good measure. It all adds up to numerous shenanigans and action-comedy hijinks, culminating in a knockdown action finale set in a warehouse! Wooden crates, two-by-fours, and more props than you can name are used and abused in the name of creative eighties HK-style action, which Jackie Chan and company are only too glad to dispense to the audience!

四名結拜好友因打劫珠寶行而入獄，託先出獄的勝先掘出埋藏的珠寶，但珠寶不翼而飛。三人一口咬定勝獨吞，勝惟有逃走。娟對勝一往情深，協助勝離港。勝結識了受保險公司委託調查珠寶下落的私家偵探詩。二人到良的旅社訂購機票。後發覺良及旅客同為良之上司所騙。詩向勝等表露身份，經一番爭持追逐，珠寶終不入各人袋口。惟娟已一心愛良，勝終人財兩空。

Four sworn brothers failed heist so get into jail for years. Sing is set free. The three ask Sing to get the hidden loot and wait for their eventual reunion. Sing discovers the loot is disappeared but the other three think Sing has stolen it. Sing has to escape. His childhood lover Kuen tries to help him to go overseas but is hurt when Sing falls for insurance detective Zee. Sing and Zee buy tickets from Leong whose boss absconds with money. Leong's honesty wins Kuen's heart as the thugs close in on them. It is found that actually is Fey stole the loot and framed Sing. Zee asks Leong, Kuen and Sing for help. In a showdown fight, the thugs are subdued, Zee rejects Sing's advances and Kuen opts for Leong, Sing is back where he starts -moneyless, jobless and loveless.
