Alternative rock band Nell revisits some of their most well-known songs with their sixth album Let's Take a Walk. This four-man band, led by vocalist and songwriter Kim Jong Wan, is one of Korea's most popular indie acts and known for their collaborations with Epik High. As a sign of their rising star, the band only recently released their fifth title Healing Process late last year, and they already have a new album to offer. The 10-track Let's Take a Walk consists of re-arranged versions of songs from previous releases, including favorites like Stay, Good Night, and Thank You.

Gotta love NELL

NELL is my favorite korean rock band and has been for many years. This album is one of my favorites because it combines all of the best tracks of previous albums (such as It's Okay, Stay, Mideoeson Andwil Mal, and Thank You) all in one. The songs are also rearranged and sound even better than the original tracks. NELL has such a soothing feel that it helps relieve stress. Their songs always seem to answer all the problems I have. Kim Jong Wan is simply amazing! If you are new to korean music and love american/british bands such as Coldplay, Keane, Radiohead, etc... NELL is an EXCELLENT place to start. |

another great cd from nell

alternative versions of their old songs,but great ones with more maturity in the production,less rock and primitive than their first work but with a really interesting search of perfection in the sound,i really think that nell will became in a near future a cult group;a wonderful indie band with his typical melancolik rock,(influenced by great bands like radiohead,red house painters;etc...),but with a more imediat "easy listening" impact. i have all cds of nell even the now ultra rare first cd,"reflections of nell",and all are great ones. superb korean group.....just hope they keep making cds,with the same evolution. |
