(5)Our Price: US$21.25Usually ships within 7 daysJune 26, 2006 Beautiful SongI fell in love with this song as soon as I first heard it. Olivia has a beautiful voice, and is an excellent song-writer. I guess you would call A Little Pain a rock ballad, but that doesn't quite do it justice. Just give it a listen; you'll see what I mean. Also the PV is lovely, too.
I look forward to hearing the other two songs, Tears and Rainbows, and Let Go. Hopefully they will be just as good.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

June 22, 2006 A Brilliant ComebackThe 5 year wait is finally over as Cocco releases her 5th studio album, Zancyan. This album is definitely something special, just like all her other albums before.
This Cd includes Cocco's two recent singles Onsoku Punch, and the beautiful ballad Hi no Terinagara Ame no Furu. Songs such as Nobi, and Anmoku Jouji have that old school rock sound we've come to expect from Cocco. Others like Swinging Night have a swinging jazzy feel to them.
I love how Cocco puts her heart and soul into everything she writes. you can just feel the emotion in her voice. Ever since I first heard of this unique singer song-writer; her music has held a special place in my heart.
Thank you Cocco. I hope you will continue to enchant us for years to come.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

March 26, 2006 Not BadThis is anna Tsuchiya's first solo album after Spin Aqua. The cd is almost entirely in English except for a few lines of Japanese in My Lullaby. Since Anna is half American, her English is perfect.
Each song has a driving rock sound. Some songs like Taiste My Skin and Ah Ah are fun, and sexy. Others like Frozen Rose are more ballad-like, but with that rockish sound. Overall a pretty good cd if you like female rock singers.
The reason for my less than perfect rating is because of the shortness of the album. Also I don't think all the songs are that great. My favorites are Frozen Rose, Somebody Help Me, and In My Hands.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

The story tells of two lovers, Oboro Iga and Genosuke Koga, who are from fuding ninja clans. Each clan leader chooses five of their best warriors to participate in a duel to the death. Unfortunately Oboro and Genosuke are both chosen to fight. Genosuke chooses the path of peace, but when his comrads start dying, he must step in. This film is both visually beautiful, and heart wrending. I do wish it had been a little longer though. I definitely recomend it.

October 21, 2005 Interesting Blend of Metal and Traditional JapanesOnmyoza, meaning the difference between Yin and Yang, is an interesting metal band. They combine heavy guitars with traditional Japanese instroments. They also wear traditional kimonos, and make-up while praforming. This album contains 12 great tracks, including the opening to the anime Basilisk "Kouga Ninpocho". There are two vocalists, one male one female. The woman's voice is wonderfully clear and powerful. I don't much care for the man's vocals as much. If you like J-rockthen check this band out. I wish more people knew of them. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
J vol.5 - The Crush of Love
October 2, 2005 I Can't Wait to Get This CDIt seems funny that I'm writing a review for a cd I haven't even heard all the way through. From what I've heard though, and from what the reviews say, I can't waite to get a copy. J has an amazing voice, and style. I'm not really an R&B lover, but I'd make an exception for her. I just wish J would come out with an American release. It's a shame her music doesn't reach more people.
By the way, does anyone know what J's official site is? I've been trying to find it.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
A MOON CHILD IN THE SKY (Japan Version)
September 28, 2005 Not as Good as I'd HopedI honestly never thought that I would ever give one of Tsukiko's albums a less than perfect score. However, this album wasn't as good as her previous works. This is not to say the album is bad. Koe and a few other tracks are enjoyable. There just aren't any stand-out tracks for me this time. Also the cd doesn't have that edge to it that Sharon Stones, and Meg Lion had. It seems as though Tsukiko's albums are getting a more mainstream sound, rather than her old school rock. Maybe if I listen to the cd more, then I might think differently. These are just my opinions after the 2nd listening. If you are a fan of Tsukiko, then by all means check it out. As I said the album is enjoyable. I hope her future albums will be more of her older sound, or maybe heavier. I liked it better when Tsukiko did her own thing. Did you find this review helpful?
