October 18, 2008 Great album!I've been a fan of Son Ho Young since his days in g.o.d. and really enjoy watching him in his solo career. This album definitely shows off his vocal ability and style. The title track, 'I Know,' is such a catchy R&B dance song. The background beat reminds me of one of Usher's songs. I especially love his duet with Tim. Both of them have beautiful voices and it's so great to hear them sing together.

October 18, 2008 The King is Back!I absolutely LOVE this album. Honestly, I had my doubts about how Rain will do after separating from JYP but I'm so glad to be proven wrong. Rain definitely shows his own personal style in this album. And it seems like his vocal abilities have improved so much. He does a lot of falsetto and it sounds so natural. My favorite songs are 'Love Story' and 'My Woman." I love the dance and upbeat tracks but the ballads are really amazing. They're really very beautiful and amazingly seductive.

September 3, 2007 Very funny, enjoyable drama!I loved this drama very much. It's funny, exciting, and heartwarming at the same time. May 30, 2007 It was so-so for me.Stairway to Heaven was one of the first Korean dramas I have watched. I came across this show by a close friend, telling me that this series was the "best ever!" Well, I watched all of it and have to disagree with that statement. The one thing that stood out in this drama is the acting by the principal leads. They were all brilliant and gave stellar performances. The thing that really dragged this drama down is the twisted storyline. I think this drama set the standard for current Korean dramas, with the dramatic plot twists and terminal illness scenario. The end of the show leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth, having gone through the despair and turmoil that the main characters are going through. Eeek. I'd take a happy, light drama anyday over this. Then again, it is called "Stairway to Heaven," which ultimately foreshadows sadness. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

May 29, 2007 Cute, Sweet MovieAt first, I thought this movie was going to be another corny movie that I wasn't going to enjoy but I was wrong. I ended up liking it alot. It's very cute, with likable characters and simple enough story to follow. Some scenes are kind of over the top, but that's to be expected in a movie such as this. I really liked the chemistry between Jung Da Bin and Song Seung Heon. I enjoyed watching their scenes together, especially when they are arguing. I did, however, had a hard time believing they were high school students, though, especially Song Seung Heon. Nonetheless, he still owned the role (not to mention he's so incredibly gorgeous). "Sweet" for sure!Initially, I wasn't an Ivy fan but my friend gave me this CD to listen to and I converted. Hehehe. I absolutely love her ballads. Her voice is very rich and dynamic, which accompanies her ballads very well. Her dance and upbeat tracks are so catchy that I caught myself listening to them over and over again. May 29, 2007 Beautiful movie, not the bestI really enjoyed "The Restless." I've been waiting forever to see it and when I finally did, I was happy with it although not overall impressed. The cinematography is beautiful and lush, with vibrant colors and scenary that definitely leaves you in awe. The main actors, Jung Woo Sung and Kim Tae Hee, are both great and believable in the way they portrayed their characters. The fight scenes were really cool and well done. The major kinks lied within the story itself. There's definitely something lacking in plot development. I wish the characters would have had grown more as the movie progressed. May 29, 2007 Wonderful, Touching DramaI enjoyed this series immensely for a number of reasons. To start off with, the main actors in this series were both great, the story was simple and easy to follow, and the overall theme is very evident throughout the whole show. I think one of the main reasons why enjoyed this show is because it is definitely not the formula for a typical Korean drama. No sibling incest, no dramatic plot twists, no amnesia, and no terminal illnesses. It's simply about two very ordinary people in very ordinary cirumstances.

Despite all the sadness that is apparent throughout the show, I ended really liking this series. One thing that really stood out to me were the main actors' performances. I have a newfound respect for Kwon Sang-Woo after watching this show. He can definitely do the hearbroken, struggling love scenes very well. His character kept compelling me to finish this show, even though half the time I wanted to stop because it was so sad. I also really love the soundtrack. The songs are so touching and beautiful, although Kim Hee Sun's singing is very questionabale.

I did manage to watch it all the way through, but was left dissatisfied, annoyed, and thinking, "why did I waste my time watching this?" The premise of this show is good, four young people trying to make it in the entertainment business while the story chronologically follows their journey. Unfortunately, it was met with bad script writing. The story just ended up being the typical love square dilemma that is in most other Korean dramas. The plot keeps going around in circles until you're left dizzy with who exactly gets the girl/or guy. On top of that, none of the main characters are particularly likeable. And the acting from the four main leads definitely brings this drama down. I am a huge Fly to the Sky fan, but Hwanhee needs to improve his acting or just stick to singing. April 23, 2007 A Little DisappointingBefore I go on to say what I didn't like about this movie, let me first start off by saying that I love Daniel Henney and have been a fan of his ever since "My Name is Kim Sam-Soon." But his acting in this movie definitely needs improving. It felt forced and detached through most of his scenes. Even though his co-star, Um Jung Hwa, has normally a strong presence to overshadow Daniel's faults, the story just wasn't strong enough to give off a lasting impression. I'm pretty sure die hard Daniel Henney fans would not want you to skip out on this movie, but I'd pass it up if you're not into cliched, banal romantic comedies. Did you find this review helpful? Not only were the actors great, but the story and plot were very beautiful and touching. Yes, it is the typical Korean love story, but this show portrayed it in a way that makes you want to believe in true love. I found myself crying during a few episodes, not because it was sad but because it was so sweet and uplifting. I really love the soundtrack as well. The story is a little cheesy and cliched at times, but it's definitely for people who love watching love stories. The scenery and cinematography is really breathtaking. I love the artwork in this show. The soundtrack that goes along to this drama is also very good.
I really love the main couple in this show, Kim Rae Won and Jung Rye Won. I personally believe they had really good chemistry together. I honestly believed their love for one another and the pain they went through together throughout the show. Their scenes together were emotional and heartfelt. But Jung Rye Won does tend to get carried away with her crying. Sometimes it did struck a chord in me, other times it was very exaggerated.
I don't think this drama is for everyone, especially those who are tired of plots like these that come along with the "Korean Wave." But if you are a romantic at heart, I definitely recommend this drama to those people.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
