Awesome rock rebel Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
It's been awhile since Sugizo has came out with a new single. This single is filled with very rocky music (different from the Dear LIFE single).
"No More Machineguns Play the Guitar" is very rocky and I believe he uses a techno microphone or something like that so it's not as clear as it could be. The music's quite loud, but it does spread the message that he's against war. =D
The second track is less rocky and more pop-like than the first track and it sounds like an ending song to some type of drama or anime. The chorus is quite catchy, which makes the song even better.
The third track starts off with the coolest piano chaos-sounding solo ever! The mix of a chaotic piano and electric guitar sounds very wicked. The guitar solo (around 2min into the song) sounds more from a video game, but it does eventually go back to Sugizo singing.
Sugizo's voice isn't very strong in any of these songs (strongest in "Remind") because either his voice is being covered up by the music, or else he's using a special microphone to make him sound more funky. If you want to listen to him sing and be able to appreciate his voice, then this single isn't really the best of his works. However, this is definitely for someone who loves chaotic-sounding rock music. It's very Sugizo-style, so all Sugizo lovers would love this!
