Based on Ninomiya Tomoko's manga, the Fuji TV drama Nodame Cantabile following the hilarious classical music adventures of Tamaki Hiroshi's straight-laced conductor and Ueno Juri's quirky piano prodigy was a big hit in Japan when it aired in 2006. The series was followed in January 2008 by an equally popular TV special, and now it's heading for the silver screen for not one but two feature films. The first film hits theaters in December 2009, and the second one in spring 2010. The making-of DVD for the first film, Nodame Cantabile: Saishu Gakusho Part 1 - Rokechi Map contains making of documentary and footage from the cast's shoot in Europe.
