Nothing About Love

Taiwan singer-songwriter Chris Yu debuted in 1993; today he has already got 17 albums under his belt. His latest collection of "Yu-style" love songs is ironically titled "It Has Nothing to Do with Romance". The titular principal song is a synthpop number, which heads the list of new attempts by the veteran singer. The 10 tracks of the new album exhibit a diversity of music styles, many of which deviate from Yu's past works, as there are rock ("The Montage of Fate"), urban folk ("See You That Night"), world music ("Dawn"), swing ("That Time in the Rain"), and R&B ("There Was Once").
