Oak Joo Hyun Vol. 3 - Remind

There is major buzz surrounding Oak Joo Hyun's much-awaited comeback to K-pop, not only because of the obvious long four-year wait, but also because her album's release coincidentally overlaps with that of fellow Fin.K.L member Lee Hyo Lee's upcoming album. But expect a friendly competition as Oak also lent her vocals to one of the tracks in Lee's new album - a solid proof that Fin.K.L will live on.

In her latest release entitled Remind, the multi-entertainer/entrepreneur offers brand new sounds that bear the markings of some of the industry's best musical talents, namely, composer Cho Young Soo, Kim Do Hoon, and Min Myung Ki, plus fellow artists such as Yoon Jong Shin, Kim Hyun Chul, and Yoon Gun of Brown Eyes. Composed by Cho Young Soo, the man responsible for driving SG Wannabe, See Ya, and Davichi to instant stardom, Honey highlights Oak's explosive multi-octave vocals while rolling out an eclectic blend of electronica, lounge, and R&B sounds. The song is also a delightful departure from Cho's earlier style of mid-tempo ballads. Already committed to performing the lead roles in acclaimed musicals Cats and Chicago, Oak continues to make history in her musical and singing endeavors - all in one shot.

최고의 가창력을 보유한 가수 옥주현의 앨범답게 국내 최고 뮤지션이 총 출동 했다. 김현철, 윤종신 등 선배 가수들과 함께 조영수, 김도훈, 브라운 아이즈의윤건, 민명기 등 국내 최고의 작곡가들이 옥주현의 앨범작업에 아낌없는 지원을 쏟았다고. 그 중 4년만의 컴백 타이틀곡은 조영수 작곡의 ‘Honey’로 선정되었다.
