▪ 오다기리 죠의 도쿄타워
좀처럼 정착하지 못하는 아버지를 떠나 홀몸으로 나(오다기리 죠)를 키운 엄마(키키 키린). 남들과 다를 바 없지만 어쩐지 조금 더 애틋한 모자지간이다. 갑자기 미술공부를 하겠다고 떠난 나에게 엄마는 지극한 응원을 보내지만, 처음의 원대한 꿈과는 달리 나는 빈둥거리다 졸업도 하지 못하고 빚만 쌓여간다. 나이가 들수록 나는 그렇게 싫어했던 지독하리만큼 책임감 없는 아버지와 점점 닮아가고 있었다. 돈이 없어 친구들은 모두 떠나고 집세가 밀려 이곳저곳을 전전하는 질 낮은 자유를 즐기던 나. 어느 날 날아온 엄마의 암 투병 소식은 나를 조금씩 변화시킨다. 일러스트레이터로서 자리가 잡히자, 나는 엄마와 도쿄에서 함께 살 결심을 하고, 친구들 북적이는 집에서 그들만의 소박한 행복이 시작된다. 하지만 엄마의 암이 재발되고 그들의 일상에도 끝이 보이기 시작하는데….

대학교 8학년인 후미야(오다기리 죠)는 어릴 적 부모에게 버림 받고 홀로 살아가고 있다. 게다가 그는 무려 84만 엔의 빚을 갚아야 하는 신세... 최악의 인생을 살아가고 있는 후미야에게 어느 날 빚쟁이 후쿠하라(미우라 토모카즈)가 찾아오고 그는 후미야에게 빚을 청산할 수 있는 사흘이란 최후의 기간을 통보한다. 약속한 시간이 되기 하루 전, 후미야를 다시 찾아온 후쿠하라는 놀라운 제안을 한다. 그것은 바로 자신과 함께 ‘도쿄산책’을 하는 대가로 현금 100만 엔을 주겠다는 것! 돈을 마련할 별다른 방법이 없던 후미야는 결국 후쿠하라의 도쿄산책에 동행하기로 하는데...
▪ 무시시
100년 전, 일본에는 ‘무시’라는 신기한 생물이 있었다. 정령도 유령도 원령도 아닌 이 생명체는 때때로 인간에게 빙의되어 불가사의한 자연 현상을 불러일으켰다. 무시의 생명의 근원을 조사하여 수수께끼를 푸는 한편, 무시로 인해 고통 받는 사람들을 치유하는 능력을 가진 자들을 사람들은 ‘무시시’라고 불렸다. 무시시인 깅코(오다기리 죠)는 무시를 잡아끄는 체질 때문에 한곳에 머물지 못하고 정처 없는 방랑을 계속하고 있다. 그는 눈 때문에 하룻밤을 묵었던 집에서 이마에 뿔이 난 소녀를 치료해준 후, 글자로 무시를 봉인하는 아름다운 처녀 탄유(아오이 유우)의 부름을 받고 그녀의 집을 방문한다. 그러나 탄유가 봉인한 무시를 조사하던 깅코는 자신이 무시에게 침식당하게 되는데, 무시가 빙의된 깅코의 운명은 과연 어떻게 될 것인가? 생과 사를 헤매는 그의 예상치 못한 비밀이 지금 밝혀진다
▪ 오페레타 너구리 저택
가라사 성의 성주인 아즈치 모모야마는 100살 먹은 기독교 예언자의 거울, 비루젠에게 물었다. “세상에서 누가 가장 잘생겼느냐?” 그러면 그녀는 항상 “주인님이십니다.”라고 대답했다. 하지만 어느 날, 예언자는 성주의 아들 아메치요(오다기리 죠)가 세상에서 가장 아름다운 남자가 될 것이라고 말한다.
이를 견딜 수 없었던 아버지는 아메치요를 산 속에 버리고 사주하여 죽이려 하지만 그는 아름다운 여인의 도움을 받아 위기를 피한다. 여인의 정체는 사람으로 변신한 너구리 공주(장쯔이). 두 사람은 운명적인 사랑에 빠진다. 아들의 미모를 시기하는 아버지, 사람과 너구리의 사랑을 부정하는 너구리들. 동화 속 이야기 같은 그 둘의 사랑 앞에 많은 장애물이 나타나 그 둘을 떼어놓으려 한다.
▪ 인 더 풀
이라부 종합병원 지하에 자리한 정신과 전문의 이라부 이치로(마츠오 스즈키)는 괴상망측한 복장과 거침없는 언행으로 환자들에게 무례하기 짝이없는 괴짜의사다. 마냥 돌팔이 같기만 한 첫인상과 달리 그에게는 은근히 묘한 매력이 있어 환자들은 시간이 지날수록 그와 마음을 터놓으며 신뢰하는 사이가 된다. 그러던 어느 날, 그에게 대형매장 직원, 중견기업 영업사원, 르포 작가 등 업무로 스트레스를 받고 있는 3명의 남녀 사회인이 찾아오는데 이들의 증상 역시 이라부만큼 기묘하다. 발기가 멈추지 않고 지속되는 남자(오다기리 죠), 하루종일 강박증으로 고통받는 여자(이치가와 미카코) 그리고 오직 수영장에서만 심적으로 안정을 취할 수 있는 남자(다나베 세이치). 이 세 사람의 기상천외한 문제해결이 시작된다.
▪ 파빌리온 살라만더
세상 사람들에게 미녀 네자매로 알려진 아키노, 미하리, 히비코, 아즈키(카시이 유우)가 있는 니노미야 가문은 대대로 동물 국보 도룡뇽 ‘킨지로’를 관리하면서 국가로부터 수십억 엔의 돈을 받고 있는 ‘살라만더 킨지로 재단’을 운영하고 있다. 그러던 어느 날, 자칭 21세기 최고의 천재 뢴트겐 기사 토비시마 호이치(오다기리 죠)는 제2 농향회 회장 카가와로부터 킨지로의 촬영을 의뢰 받는다. 킨지로가 가짜라는 의혹이 급부상하고 있는 이유로 진짜인지 아닌지를 알아내야 했기 때문. 한편 아즈키는 킨지로가 위험하다는 말을 듣고 킨지로를 안전한 곳으로 옮기고 아직 만나지 못한 엄마를 보러 가고자 한다. 아즈키는 미하리나 히비코와는 배다른 자매였던 것. 킨지로의 150세 생일 파티가 니노미야의 호화 저택에서 열리던 밤, 호이치와 아즈키는 운명적인 만남을 갖게 된다.
