After a brief stint in England studying music earlier this year, Ivana Wong has finally come up with her 2009 new album On Wings of Time. The stylish singer-songwriter designed the album, composed all the music and provided most words, with a couple of contributions from Canto-pop's top lyricists Lin Xi and Wyman Wong. There are 12 songs on On Wings of Time, including the airplay #1 hits "The Moon Says" and "Big Ben", the new plug "Small Reunion", plus a duet with Mainland musician Chang Shilei, and several Mandarin tracks. The album comes with a bonus DVD carrying two music videos.

Most beautiful album of the year! Soul-touching!

Hong Kong's talented singer-song-writer Ivana Wong Yuen Chi's BEST album choice of the year! 12 beautifully wrought melodies and lyrics take us onto a "time journey", gathering gems of heart-warming and soul-touching songs along the way. The style of compositions is rich and colourful, ranging from gentle and slow ballads of the 50's to the modern artistic soulful tunes of the 21 century. Really marvellous! This second edition includes a new live concert of Ivana: "Rendesvous", which at a few places is slightly affected by her recent vocal ailment, but is still dazzling and delightful! I listen to it everyday and love so much to share my joy of listening with everybody I know! Really a must-buy album of 2010!! Do not miss!! |
