After sparring on stage for the Dream Boys musical, KAT-TUN's Kamenashi Kazuya puts his boxing gloves to good use again in the new drama One Pound Gospel. Starring in his first drama since 2006's Tatta Hitotsu no Koi, Kamenashi underwent extensive training to get into top physical shape for his role as a young boxing prodigy going through a tough slump. Rising actress Kuroki Meisa from Haikei, Chichiue-sama and One Missed Call Final plays the cute aspiring nun who captures his heart. Aired on NTV in early 2008, One Pound Gospel is based on a popular manga by renowned comic artist Takahashi Rumiko. The drama also co-stars Hey! Say! JUMP's Yamada Ryosuke (Tantei Gakuen Q).
