Born on "Planet OPEN" on 2005-07-11, OPEN-chan is the mascot for a certain convenience store giant in Taiwan, which has developed a wide variety of merchandises based on the popular cartoon character, plus comic strips, music, and webpages dedicated to the cutesy, puppy-like alien creature and his fun-loving friends.
The latest OPEN-chan album Music Party comes with four songs on a CD, and a DVD containing music videos, features on OPEN-chan and a dance tutorial. The Limited Preorder Version comes with an OPEN-chan picnic box and an OPEN-chan face mask.
