Shortly after her 29th birthday in May, Canto-pop artist Denise Ho returned to the spotlight with her new major album. During her birthday party, her fans surprised their idol by dressing up in yellow, Denise's lucky color. What's more, they also showed their support for Denise's up-coming premier solo tour in October by preparing a concert-stage-shaped cake. As for Denise's new album, it is called Our Time Has Come and filled with 10 tunes, including "Knocking in the Middle of the Night" (Track 6) and "Faultless" (Track 8) among other promising material.

i must say, it is this album that makes me fall in love with hocc and her music. it all started when she had a promo tour in malaysia and i find her a very good "live" singer! thus i am now trying to buy all her previous albums, but glamorous and free love are out of stock. our time has come definitely worth buying. can't wait for her next album and concert dvd!

The only track on this album that is good and original is track 2 and its mandarin version, track 9 along with the reprise. Some of the other songs doesn't sound original especially the fast songs. The style of those songs are similiar to the ones of Anita Mui. I think the company are trying to have same styles as the legendary singer so that they can make people believe that another Anita Mui is possible (even if she might not be as good as or worst as Anita Mui).

Her time has come for her to shine as a bright beacon for any aspiring pop artists who currently find it extremely hard and emotionally draining to get their foot in the door of this dynamic and cut-throat industry of Hong Kong pop music. Some of the current crop of Cantopop singers will look up to her as their "Big Sister", like what the late Miss Anita Mui Yim-fong did for her. This album is out of this world. The music is great, the lyrics are nice and the musical arrangement is just cool..... And without a doubt, Denise put her heart and soul into this musical production. My hats off to her and the team behind the album's production. I wish Hocc continued success in Chinese pop for many years to come.

Hocc hasn't had a new release in a very long time and this cd will definetely not disappoint. She's definetely a very talented singer and that is portrayed in this cd. Her songs are a lot more mature and you see her growth in this album. I like tracks 2, 5 and 8 the most but that's only because i like slow songs better. track 2 is beautifully composed and the lyrics are very touching and meaningful. track 8 was composed by hocc herself and is just put together so nicely. in additon to the great songs, there is the music movie which is a great plus to this album and makes buying this cd even more worthwhile. i would not miss out on this cd if you're looking for good songs and a good singer.
