Yeah!!!
I can't wait to get my hands on this new albulm of BoA! I would rather hear it in Korean, because that is my native language. I don't know why it is important for her to speak Japanese, then Chinese??? I'm not hating, but this is my opinion. I always wonder why??? I have one conclusion though, she wants to be known as the K-pop queen who rules all Asian countries with her voice and is multi-millionaire. LOL :)!!! Don't hate.

IT'S WORTH TO WAIT
IT'S WORTH TO WAIT
STOP saying that BoA is Britney Wanna Be or Asian Britney Spears. Just because she was born into this world after britney so you can say BoA is Britney Wanna Be BUT If BoA was born first you dont have a reason to say that again cause BoA is better than Britney. BoA has a great vocal and dance as well. I think this album is really fresh. Represent what the album title OUTGROW just like BoA now. I dont get it why some of people dont like this album. Some of them want BoA to sing Valenti and Every Heart again, so if you want to hear that song you can play your old album of BoA. She cant sing that two songs in her new album. Some other disappointed of the song in the album cause most of the songs are already in BoA singles before. So WHY ? LUCKY ME cause I never have BoA singles. BoA singles never release in my country [Indonesia] only full album. So to me all the song in OUTGROW are new although I ever hear the song Do the Motion and With U from BoA Arena Tour 2005 Live Concert. All that I can say just I love all the songs at this album especially Do The Motion, Make a secret, Everlasting, Comic eyes, Dakishimeru, Stay My Gold and last but not least the song that BoA write her own First Snow. If you BoA huge fan you should buy this album and enjoy the songs. Good work BoA, this album is really worth to wait for me. I cant wait for your new Korean Album.

Great
Well, bout this album, all the songs are superb. I like BOA's dance songs. They just make me wanna move my body. I love the sentimental tunes as well. Actually, I also heard the BOA's new Korean Album - vol.5 : Girls on top. It's also very good.

I dont know why I havent written a review earlier ;p Anyways, I have only been a fan of BoA since less than 2 years ago. The first songs I heard (other than Every Heart) were ones from Love & Honesty (my friend had a "BoA 2004" CD (no idea where she got it :P)). Then I bought Valenti. Im a little sad that BoA hasnt sang anything like Valenti, Miracle, Jewel Song, and all the other "filler" songs on that album. On Valenti, I loved every song. Outgrow however, to me it DOES feel a little rushed. There, of course, is nothing wrong with how BoA sings the songs :X I just think that there could have been more work placed in them. Honestly I dont care if I had to wait another year for the album; I want it to be the best it can. I personally dont have any obsessions on this album like I did with Love & Honesty and VALENTI. The songs are all nice, but they just aren't good enough for me. The best songs on here are Do The Motion and Everlasting :) Some of the others hurt my poor ears -- percussion that is XD Like Cosmic Eyes and Dakishimeru. Also, Ive seen so many people dislike the album with passion. Its funny because the people who dislike it all dislike different songs on it ;p Some people hate Outgrow~Ready Butterfly~, others think its the only good song. So do you think BoA did a good job with different styles? Seems so.

When I first get this album I didn't like it much but after I actually listened to lyrics and her voice I ended up really like it. This album is very good and I think that it does justice to her voice and talent. Good Job BoA. ^.^

Hmmm
I have mixed feelings about this album. On one level I love the single songs, but some songs I don't like. All in all this album is a bit boring, but you can overlook the ballads (if you don't like them, that is) and listen to the single songs. Some album songs aren't that bad, though. I guess I'm not sure to hate it or love it, so I'll just be in the middle and say it's okay ;)

Wow!

The majority of the BoA fan community seems to be very disappointed with this album, but quite the opposite stands for me. This album is absolutely wonderful! Yes, there are only about five or six new tracks, as the rest appear on her latest singles, but the songs are still awesome! The are too many ballads on the CD for my taste, though. My favorite track is definitely track 4, "OUTGROW ~Ready Butterfly~". It's a stellar techno song, I just love the beginning! "Silent Screamerz" is another awesome techno-pop song. "Do the Motion" is more of an easy listening type song, its very different, and very catchy too! I expected "Kimi no Tonari de" to be a song similar to "Do the Motion", but it is actually a relaxing ballad. I absolutely despised "Make a Secret" at first, but it really grew on me and now I love it! "Everlasting" is simply stunning. It's the best ballad BoA has done since "Every Heart"! The CD really would have been better off without "LONG TIME NO SEE", but oh well. "Cosmic Eyes" and "Dakishimeru" are both great, very upbeat songs. "Love is Just What You Can't See" is a jazzy song that just isn't very memorable. I adore "Stay My Gold", it's so beautiful and touching! "With U" is a little weird, but cool. "Soundscape" and "First Snow" are actually pretty good ballads, neither can measure up to "Everlasting" though! Buy this CD now! |

Great album!
I really like this album for one reason. It has all e different genres of music in it like pop rock, ballads n jazz. It makes the whole listening experience so wonderful and I can spin the CD whole day long without skipping a single track at all. However, I feel that this album should do without songs like 'long time no see' and 'soundscape' which are weaker b-side tracks and do the album injustice. I like 'silent screamerz' and "OUTGROW"; they add the adrenalin and power to her music. 'stay my gold' simply touches me... Well Done BoA!

...Oh.. My... God!!! This CD is SO boring!! I in advance already knew BoA was into doing Britney-like pop but this is horrible! The ONLY good song on this album is Everlasting.. This album does not do that song justice.. for the artist? I'm sure this album is suiting.. It seems BoA is fine with the fact that she's becoming the asian Britney Spears... (Eeeeww) Please, if you are new to JMusic and want some light music PLEASE try another artist (BoA isn't even from Japan) Try someone like Hitomi Yaida, Ayumi Hamasaki, Ayaka Hirahara, Chihiro Onitsuka... seriously even Koda Kumi makes better CD's than this, and i despise her music! What happened to BoA?
What happened to BoA?
I wish for a refund on my BoA album that I recently receieved. I cannot believe how bad it is. I want my old BoA back, she is just the best when she sang songs like Jewel and Every Heart. I do not really have passion for those pop songs that remind me of Britney Spears and American pop. Although, this album attempts to offer a softer side to BoA. Not as much of Britney pop, which is better in a way, but the attempt of the transition is too bleak. The only song that i enjoyed on this album is DO THE MOTION. THe others are ok but are not those kinds of songs that stay in your head. BOA!! WHERE ARE YOU??
