Beautiful Art Book Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Kim Hyung Tae is one of the most brilliant artists around. His characters are gorgeous and their outfits are exquisite and unique.

The book itself is full of bright and colourful pages.

Its a must have for fans of the games for which he designed the characters.

WOW this is just so pretty I'm so glad i found it here on yes asia. Tho now i wish that they have a section just on art books because unless you know exactly what you are looking for you can't find it ^^ but i love it LOVE LOVE IT. the book is so nicely printed and the images are just amazing.

Hyung-tae Kim is a Korean artist who has been on the anime illustration circuit for only a short time, but has become massively popular among anime art collectors, and gaming fans alike. This book is said to be a reprint of sorts of his first book; Oxide (which was printed in Korea, in limited numbers and is extremely rare!) with a nice amount
of new illustrations added. Contents include 174 full color illustrations of his characters from MagnaCarta, MagnaCarta -The Phantom Avalanche-, War of Genesis III part 2, War of Genesis III, and additional sketch works. For those who'd like to see just how Kim adds coloration to his art, he's added a how-to section in the second chapter. From start to finish I'd have to say that this is an excellent collection of his works, and would be a good investment for those who missed or just can't afford his first collection. Kim's style reminds me of Masamune Shirow's, but he can create tons of bizarre characters with even more bizarre outfits (so much that it surpasses Shirow IMO).
Either way he's definitely got his own mind when it comes to fashion, which makes his creations cooler than most. He also has a talent for cute and sexy ^-^!

He is one of the best artists I know out there, this book is very beautiful. The coloring is spectacular. If you love art, you have to buy this book!
