1963年、アメリカ。ブッチとテリーという2人の囚人が、刑務所から脱獄する。周辺に緊急捜査網が敷かれる中、彼らは途中出会った8歳の少年・フィリップを人質にとって逃げる。それを追うのはブッチを初めて監獄に入れた警官であり、現テキサス州警察署長のガーネット。そんな折り、テリーがフィリップに悪戯をしようとしたため、ブッチはテリーを殺してしまう。そしてブッチはフィリップを連れて父がいるアラスカを目指す。愛を知らず孤独な少年時代を過ごしたブッチは、同じ様な境遇にあるフィリップに親近感を覚えるように。一方フィリップもまた、ブッチに父性を感じ、慕うようになる。父と子のような関係を築いていく2人だったが、やがて悲劇が起きて…。 ■映像特典：オリジナル劇場予告編
