October 23, 2006 Meant to be CuteChoi Ji Woo and Ahn Jae Wook look happy and carefree on the cover. Nice dvd cover is the making to tempt to get this dvd. And it was added to my Choi Ji Woo movie rack. This movie is meant to be cute and it is. Choi Ji Woo is a reporter at a gossip magazine. She is introverted and shy and a good girl and she never had her first kiss. Ahn Jae Wook is a hot shot photographer and has had his experiences and he is looking for a nice girl to be serious with. CJW and AJW both have to work together as a team. Sometimes she can be loud and scream her lungs out and he thinks she's a complete nut. October 23, 2006 Had reservationsI had reservations about this movie. Being a fan of Choi Ji Woo and seen her other movies. I was tempted to get this one too. This one I did not give away to the waitress at the Korean restaurant. It is on the rack along with the other Choi Ji Woo movies. It is rated Category III. There is no nudity in this movie. There is sex jokes and sex references and sex comments. Some audience members make not like this while watching the movie. This movie is not for them. For people who are open and don't find such things offensive will think it is funny. I don't regret getting this movie. It is not one of my favorites. I might watch it again in the future. Hardly any dialogue and action between the characters of this movie. Yes can understand they are shocked and upset and heartbroken and devastated. It is hard to fathom the idea they would have an affair as a form of revenge against their spouses for having an affair behind their backs. Son Yae Jin looks hot in the love making scenes. The cover of the dvd is what made me tempted to get this movie. SIGH SIGH SIGH I gave this one to the waitress at the Korean restaurant I frequent. Windstruck is a tiny bit better than My Sassy Girl. The story is more coherent and understandable. The theme is rather depressing. In the beginning it is funny with Jang Hyuck and Jeon Ji Hyun. From there it went depressing and sad. And the ending is an explanation as to why and what happens in My Sassy Girl. This movie connects with My Sassy Girl. Yes My Sassy Girl came before Windstruck. October 23, 2006 OverratedOverrated. After reading all the reviews for this movie I was overcome with a big temptation to get this movie. After I watched it and all I gave it away to the waitress at the Korean restaurant I go to. With that said. The movie has twists and turns. It seems like it does not know what direction it is going in and does not know what genre it wants to be. Probably the director wanted to do all genres in one movie and failed miserably. This movie wants to be romantic, funny, action, scary, etc. Cha Tae Hyun IS funny in the beginning and got weird in the middle and got serious at the end. October 23, 2006 Not Romantic Not FunnyAgree Ahn Sung Ki & Choi Ji Woo look cute together in this movie. With that out in the air. The movie was not romantic and it was not funny. The movie seemed to be a jigsaw puzzle and fragmented. The story goes like this --- Choi Ji Woo is a high school teacher. Ahn Sung Ki is the president and divorced and his bratty daughter is Choi Ji Woo's student. Bratty daughter is a evil bad kid does not like school and bullies other students. She bullied a boy student to steal a teddy bear for her. The boy student was scared to death when the store keeper chased after him. The bratty daughter thought this was funny and laughed insanely. Choi Ji Woo comes in to straighten her out and reports her bad behaviors to her father. She does not know this bratty kid's father is the president. The president meets Choi Ji Woo he falls in love with her and dates her. The story is not coherent not solid and jumps. The jokes were corny. And yes Choi Ji Woo looks cute and pretty.
