ZZZZZZZZ....... Customer Review Rated Bad 3 - 3 out of 10
Why was this series so long? It had to be the most monotonous and biggest 26 episode k-drama disapointment I've ever seen. It had a good start, but man did it drag until the agonizing end finally came. Not that I'm an expert or anything, but there was just no fire in this one and the bulk of the drama was just so depressing (and did I say long)

A disappointment Customer Review Rated Bad 1 - 1 out of 10
I've long awaited for this drama. Heard lots of good things about this but I in my opinion, it's a really BIG disappointment. The actors were bad and moving in snail pace. The only thing that kept me amused was the crazy girl, which was pretty sad. I highly DO NOT recommend this movie. My advise, borrow from a friend or wait for a clearance.

Big disappointment... Customer Review Rated Bad 2 - 2 out of 10
Just finished the last episode last night... all I can say is it was a big disappointment from beginning to end... I did more fast forwarding than watching because I was so bored... I would blame it mostly on lack of good looking cast and story was lame & boring... it just dragged & dragged and the supporting actress couldn't be more annoying, I couldn't wait for something bad to happen to her, just wished it was sooner... the story was too lame & simple for it to be in a series... it would be OK for a 1hr movie but to drag it out to 20+ episodes is just plain torture...

Music in Phoenix... Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
Did anyone notice that the theme song from "Autumn in my Heart" is played in the Phoenix series? I thought this was really strange and didn't think it was permissible? Also, I thought Eric Mun looked better w/o the mustache & goatee , he looks much better clean cut. Not many asian men can get away w/facial hair that's flattering...

Don't Miss Superb Performance Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Contrary to most other K drama series, Phoenix does not
have the usual formula of handsome actors and beautiful
actresses. But I think Lee Seo Jin and Lee Eun Joo fit their role perfectly due to their superb acting skills and their less than perfect looks also make this series more realistic.
In my mind, Phoenix would be less successful if it was played by other leading actors and actresses. Both Lees made me really feel for them as if I was watching a real life drama. Their many dialog in the series is a life lesson for me. As much as I like this series, I think there is a weak point in the script when it comes to how Eric Mun totally falls for Lee Eun Joo because there is no convincing interaction between them and Lee Eun Joo isn't a captivating beauty either. I also fast forward all the over dramatization played by the other lead actress. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. My friend asked me who was this handsome man with the intense look when I introduced her to this serie. Of course the answer is
Lee Seo Jin who has that same burning look in Damo, another K drama series which I highly recommend. Phoenix is my favorite series after Winter Sonata, Damo, Stairway to Heaven and Summer Scent. Final tribute to Lee Eun Joo:
What a wonderful actress and Why?

How sad this had to be her last.. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Ever since I saw my first movie of Lee Eun Joo's (Lover's Concerto), I have been a fan of hers. Her perfomance in this drama was marvelous. This actress definitely stood out among the many pretty faces that K-Drama fans have come to know, as she shows us in Phoenix. I would have loved to see Lee in other K-drama roles....

KILL ME WITH A SMILE! Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
Great plots with wondeful developments of the lead characters..It made you have mix feelings about who you want the lead actress to end up with...The dialogue is awsome..and who said that you have to be pretty or handsome to be attractive! Sometimes all you need is a killer smile ....so go get this and enjoy!

The actings of the leads are also worth all your time spent in front of the tv set.It will be an unforgettable experience to watch this drama. It is so realistic and inspiring that by watching it;you can also feel the pains of the characters and how they react by their own judgement.Highly recommended.
