The mighty seafaring adventures of the great Captain Jack Sparrow continue in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest! Following the blockbuster success of The Curse of the Black Pearl, Disney quickly signed on for two sequels, the first of which hit theaters in summer 2006. Director Gore Verbinski and leads Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, and Keira Knightley return for more bumbling pirating and supernatural showdowns on the high seas.

Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) find their wedding ceremony interrupted when the new commodore demands Will bring back Sparrow and his magical compass in exchange for Elizabeth's freedom. Jack, however, has his own problems to contend with. He owes legendary pirate Davy Jones (Bill Nighy) a bloody debt, a debt that can only be settled with his soul. With the ghostly captain and his mystical sea monster the Kraken on the hunt, Jack and crew must find Davy Jones's chest for leverage or they'll all be heading straight to Davy Jones's locker.

Dead Man's Chest Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
Not as good as the first movie, slightly loses its sense of adventure. But still there are some good fighting scenes, comedy, action....some good visual graphics, and the movie ends by keeping us on the edge - I'm looking forward to seeing the third installment. 7/10.
