October 3, 2006 Good Stuff!
I think F.I.R.'s new album is really good. My fav tracks are 3-5,7,9. 3 and 5 are really great songs with the "F.I.R." style we all love! I like the duet on #4 "tiantian yeye", and I also really like the total rock style of #9 I don't care. #7 "Ni hen ai Ta" is my favorite slow song on the album. This album is absolutely worth buying! October 3, 2006 Great New GroupAfter listening to this cd, I have to say that I am now a big fan of this group!! The quality of their music is great; their sound is little rock and pop mixed together nicely. In my opinion, the stand out tracks are 3,4,6,7,9. My favorite song is #3 (mimi huayuan). The only song I don't like is #2 (dear prince)...but overall I was very impressed with their album---they're defenitely a really great new group!! Did you find this review helpful? October 3, 2006 Awesome!I have to admit that I was not let down by Jay's latest cd. I think all the songs are really great, my favorite song is "ting mama de hua" because of its fun upbeat tune, but all the songs are great; there isn't even one that I don't like! The dvd is nice...but, I like the making of footage better than the two videos. The poster is also great, super big and nice high quality paper. Overall, this cd is better than I even expected, I think he has definitely improved and is continually setting the bar for his music higher and higher. Did you find this review helpful? June 18, 2006 Not badWell, I think Jolin's new album is pretty good. I really like all the fast songs, but agree that there are a few too many slow ones (some are good, but it gets a little boring at times). June 15, 2006 Okay albumWell, I was also a little disappointed with their new album. This album doesn't even get close to the level of their first two albums. There are two songs that I love--#6 and #12. Other good tracks are--1,2,5,9. Overall, I think the songs are too slow and hope they come back with some more up-tempo/hip-hop songs on their next album. February 7, 2006 Awesome!I think huo yuan chia is a great song, and the video is awesome! I don't think it sounds exactly like blue hurricane, like some other reviewers have mentioned, but it does have the classic "Jay sound" to it. The way he sings in the song totally blew me away (really high, and almost sounds like a girl)! The rest of the videos are great too. But, the best part of the package was the video clips from his incomparable concert in Hong Kong--that rocked! It also has some parts that are similar to his L.A. concert, so anyone who went to that will especially enjoy the clips...believe me! This is a must have for any Jay fan! November 8, 2005 Jay Rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!You can never go wrong with a Jay cd--they're all totally great! The album is a good mix of rock, rap, and ballads. All the songs are top notch, but I especially love songs 1-5,8,9. Having the Initial D songs on the cd was an awesome bonus, and I love the calendar cards!! Meal No.2 (Preorder Limited Edition) (CD+DVD)
August 27, 2005 Pretty GoodThis cd is a bit different style then there previous album. I'm a huge fan of their first album, and personally I like the group better with the origional members. I think this is still a good cd overall. The music video is nice, and the pin is a nice additional item [I just wish I'd gotten the Jay pin!!:)] The biggest problem I have with the new group, is they seem to have changed their image.
