Pokemon Pearl DS (Japan Version) Nintendo DS

It just wouldn't be a Nintendo console without a Pokemon game! The lovable, collectable, and ubiquitous critters are coming to the Nintendo DS with a pair of new games: Pokemon Pearl and Pokemon Diamond. These new entries in the long-running creature-collecting RPG promise classic gameplay plus some all-new tweaks designed to take advantage of the DS hardware. Players can select from either a male or female avatar, and must explore Shinou Country to find all new Pokemon to collect, train, and deploy against pesky NPC Pokemon Masters. True to form, there are a slew of new Pokemon here, and both Diamond and Pearl contain unique Pokemon that can be traded from game to game via the DS's wi-fi functionality. Of course, owners of the classic Gameboy Advance Pokemon games can import their beloved Pokemon into Diamond or Pearl, too! New features include a day/night cycle based on the DS's internal clock; some Pokemon only show up at night, so some late night (or early morning) Pokemon sessions may be necessary to catch 'em all. Even more, the in-game Pokedex has been redesigned to resemble a DS Lite. Using the stylus and touchscreen, players can now access required Pokedex info faster and more effectively, as well as play all new minigames!
